Chapter 18

'Now this is a huge ki. I think I found the perfect target to test my strength.' Kaito said and immediately teleported to that planet.

In a dome shaped building, there were many people walking around in white and blue armor.

In a huge room, an alien with huge build, horns, tail, three toes and a body with purple and white parts. It also had a blue shiny thing on its head.

He was looking at some screen and laughing when suddenly a person with black spiky hair and a tail showed up in front of him.

"Who are you monkey? How did you come here?" the alien asked.

The person looked at the alien and said "Ah! you must be Cold. I am Kaito."

"Oh, so you do know about me and still dared to stand near me and also talk to me in that tone." Cold said and released a small part of his ki.

"Good good. I am itching to fight you. Let us take this fight somewhere else." Kaito said and teleported Cold to a planet nearby.

"Where have you brought me monkey?" Cold asks while looking around.

"Don't worry, if you can fight me and defeat me, I will take you back." Kaito said.

"Fight you? Do you really know about me?" Cold asked.

"I don't usually talk this much." Kaito said and rushed at Cold, aiming to punch him.

Cold immediately crossed his arms to block the punch.

He blocked the punch and it made Cold move a few feet back.

"I have underestimated you monkey. I will not do it from now." Cold said and powered up by shouting.

"Good. Even I didn't use all my strength in that punch." Kaito said and powered up by shouting.

They both stare at each other and rush at each other.

They both clash in between. Kaito stopped a punch of Cold and Cold blocked Kaito's kick.

They both exchange blows. Kaito blocked every move of Cold but, some of Kaito's attacks connected to Cold. He couldn't block all the attacks.

'I haven't been in a fight like this before. Who is this saiyan? He is far more stronger than King Vegeta was.' Cold thought.

Cold only fought with weaker beings. He would use his ki based attacks and end the fight in seconds. No one had engaged him in a physical fight.

Whereas, kaito learnt Martial arts, which focus on close combat. He had the upper hand here.

Cold jumped back and fired a laser beam(or ki) attack at Kaito.

Kaito just hits it away with his hand. "Those tricks don't work on me. Come at me with all you got." Kaito said.

"Remember that you asked for this." Cold says and starts shouting. This indicates that he was either going to transform or power up.

His head starts growing longer and his face turns weird. His height decreases a little.

"This is my third form. I don't like to use this form but, you made me do it. Now, don't expect mercy." Cold said and raised his hand.

Energy started gathering there and it slowly grew until it looked like a miniature sun.

"Now die" Cold said and threw it at Kaito. Kaito looks at the energy ball and smiles.

He didn't move at all and the blast hit him. There was a huge explosion and dust raised.

"Huh. Must have been too frightened to even move. I thought I could finally fight someone after all these years." Cold said and then he noticed something.

"Wait, that move was strong enough to even wipe out a planet bigger than this. All that happened was an explosion." Cold said and then he heard a voice from the center of the dust cloud "It isn't over yet."

The dust slowly cleared and Kaito was standing at the center of a crater. His clothes were gone and he had wounds all over his body.

Then his wounds started healing in a visible rate, faster than before. "That surprisingly didn't pain as much asni was expecting it to. I really did grow strong." Kaito said and created a new set of clothes with his magic materialisation.

Kaito was walking out of the crater when Cold fired countless energy balls at Kaito.

Kaito could dodge but didn't. He was testing out how strong he was. He wouldn't find out of he dodged them.

Cold stopped after some time and smiled. That smile disappeared when he heard Kaito's foot steps.

"Cold, I am a busy man. My wife gave me only 2 years to train and I already used one year. I can't waste much time here. Now, use your full power or I will leave." Kaito said.

Cold was angry when he heard that. He didn't like Kaito looking down at him.

He again started shouting. This time, his height dropped a lot and he turned into an ugly alien with purple body, white near hands and feet and a blue thing at his chest and head.

He also had veins popping out all over his body. "This is my final form at full power. Now die" Cold said again and brought out another sun but, this wasn't a miniature version. It was big enough look like a moon.

He threw it at Kaito. Kaito decided to risk it and take the attack head on.

The blast hit him and it blew. The blast was huge and it shook the whole planet.

Cold waited for the dust to clear, to see Kaito. He was again at the center without clothes but this time, he had burns and wounds far worse than before.

He couldn't stand and fell down on his knees for a second and got up again.

His wounds healed again and this time he said "That sure was painful. I think I was a little overconfident. I now know the extent of my powers. Shall we start the actual fight and get serious."

They both started their close combat again. Cold repeatedly tried to increase the distance to fire ki based attacks but, Kaito didn't give him the chance.
