"Haaa, so that's how it is~"
Thinking back on it now, didn't Megicula mention something about turning him into a elf-devil hybrid? It wasn't that far fetched to imagine that something along those lines had happened to Zenon.
Abandoning your humanity for power... How very pragmatic.
While he looked down on anyone who relied on external forces to gain power, he understood Zenon's reason for turning.
After their last little skirmish, he had already gotten a good grasp on Zenon's upper limits. Like Vanica and Dante before him, he to relied heavily on his devil's power. In his eyes, devils were the pinnacle of strength. In order to get even stronger, it was only natural that he would want to become just like them.
*Smiles*
What an amusing family you have Vanica.
"Ughh."
Hmm?
Just then, a groan sounded from the sleeping Yami followed by a loud yawn.
"Mmm..." He blinked a couple of times letting his eyes adjust to the light.
"EH!" He blinked again realizing that Moris and the room he was in had disappeared.
'What the heck? Wasn't I just in some weird coffin thingy?'
"Nice to see you up."
Hearing a familiar voice and turning his head to the side, Yami's eyes widened when he recognised the smiling young man standing next to him.
"Grim?" He asked doubting if this was even real.
"Heh, the one and only." He grinned and held his hand out. "Welcome back Captain."
But instead of gratitude, the first thing to come out of Yami's mouth was-
"...Couldn't you have saved me sooner?"
"...Excuse me?"
*Sigh* "Grim." He placed his hand on his shoulder. "Do you have any idea how hard it is to hold back the urge to take a dump for an entire week?"
'What?'
"If you had come even a second later, my sheer need to drop a turd would have forced me to surpass my limits and escape."
'The fuck is this guy talking about?'
"Now what kind of position would that put you in? Imagine it. After training your ass off and fighting off all kinds of creepy guys, you find out that the captain you risked your life to save just walked out by himself? Wouldn't that just break your little heart? Knowing that all the pain and effort you put yourself through was for nothing?"
'Oh... I get it. Moris must have done something to his brain.'
"Tsk tsk." He shook his head. "But what kind of captain would I be if I didn't give my subordinates the chance to show off? If anything, you should be thanking me for giving you the opportunity to save me."
"...You sure are talking a lot of shit for someone who was a damsel mere moments ago."
***
"How is this guy still alive?"
"Y'know, I've actually been wondering that myself."
Standing over the body of the screaming Moris, the two speculated on his incredible vitality.
"You ever seen something like this before?" Grim asked.
"Nah, this is a new level of weird."
"Well shit... How long do you think he'll last?"
"Hmm... 50 yul says 2-5 minutes?"
"...I'll take that bet!"
While the two gambled on his fate, the remaining side of Moris's brain that could understand them wailed in agony.

Meanwhile...
After turning into a devil, getting rid of Yuno and focusing his attention on Langris. Finral abruptly appeared out of nowhere. Using his new [Instant Teleportation] spell to move Langris out of the way from Zenon's bone whips. The two spatial mage brothers faced off against the last of the dark triad.
"A spell that allows its user to instantly move anywhere on the battlefield... Impressive, but it won't save you."
"Heh, we'll see about that."
*FWOOSH!!*
*WARP!!*
Using [Instant Teleportation], the two narrowly avoided being impaled by the tips of the bone whips at they stabbed into the area the two were previously standing at.
"Hmm?"
Watching as the two brothers flashed around the battlefield while being barely able to evade his bone whips, Zenon remained calm and simply followed along with his eyes.
'It really is an impressive spell, but I've gotten used to the speed now.'
'I'll settle this in my next attack.'
Watching them teleport around, Zenon waited patiently for his chance to arrive. And when it did-
'NOW!'
*FWOOSH!!*
Bones flew out like projectiles.
*WARP!!*
WHAT!
The two appeared directly behind him.
'Impossible! I calculated their speed!'
Grinning and holding onto Langris, wrapped around Finral's wrist hung a floating ring of runes.
'Gotcha.'
Using the Heart Kingdom's mana method to enhance the speed of his [Instant Teleportation], not only did he manage to throw Zenon off his game, he even made it to his unprotected back.
"LANGRISSSSSSSSSSS!!"
!!!
Putting everything on the line, the magic that gouged through space and erased everything in its path manifested in Langris's hands.
Following Finral's battle cry, Langris's hand slashed through Zenon's chest and split him in half from shoulder to torso.
WE WIN

"Hey." Yami suddenly spoke up. "Don't you think you went a bit too far with the whole 'Destroying half of his body schtick?'"
"Would you believe me if I told you that I was honestly just trying to kill him?"
*Looks at the crippled Moris*
"...No." Yami answered.
"What?! Why not?"
*Shrugs*
"As if a psycho like you would fail to kill someone."
"That's... the nicest thing someone's ever said to me."
"Gurghhhh!" Moris's throat made a weird gurgling noise.
"Oh, he's still kicking... You owe me 50 yul."
"Heh." Yami suddenly smiled. "Double or nothing."
"...Why not."

While Grim and Yami were busy gambling away in the destroyed basement, Yuno was finally begining to stir.
"Uughk." He groaned.
How long was I out?
Opening his eyes, a sharp feeling pain ran through his body as he was forced to wince.
That hit from Zenon had not only knocked him out of his full powered spirit dive form, it had also dealt some serious damage.
Igoring the pain and forcing his head to rise, the scene in front of him shook him to his core.
Through the hole he came through and standing menacingly in the distance, with both Langris and Finral impaled by his bone whips and held in the air, Zenon looked at the shaken Yuno and smiled.
