Attack on Spade

Standing in front of a huge window overlooking the rest of the kingdom, a tired sigh escaped from Julius's lips.
'Now that Yami, William and Grim are gone, our military strength has taken a major hit.'
'If something unexpected happens, I'm not sure I'll be able to handle it.'
Fretting over the future of his kingdom, he looked off into the distance and in the direction of the Spade Kingdom.
'I hope you'll succeed.'

-Nacht Pov-
Finishing up his explanation about their assault on the Spade Kingdom, he stood in front of several captains and the other knights who would follow him into the heart of the Spade Kingdom.
"So, to summarize. The ritual for the Advent of Qliphoth is split into 4 sections. The centre is where William and Yami will be held, the other three are where the members of the Dark Triad will be stationed. Due to their contracts connecting them to the underworld, all three of them have the ability to activate the ritual. If we can eliminate all three of them, not only will we stop the ritual, but we'll also save Yami and William. Any questions?"
"Why not go for William and Yami directly? Wouldn't that be faster than wasting our time dealing with the Dark Triad?"
"No." Nacht shook his head.
"William and Yami will be guarded by a small army of dark disciples, getting to them would only slow us down. Our best bet is to go after the dark triad since they are too arrogant to allow themselves to be protected by the dark disciples that they view as beneath them. If we use our numerical advantage correctly, we should be able to beat them before the ritual can finish."
"What about Asta?" Fuegoleon asked.
-Will he not be joining us?
"It's going to take him a little longer than expected."
Remembering something, Dorothy suddenly spoke up.
"What about Grim? Isn't he also at the castle?"
Hearing that name, the corners of Nacht's lips curved down slightly.
"Grim… Is an unknown. For the sake of the plan, we won't factor him in for the time being. Just focus on defeating the dark triad."
After asking everything that needed to be asked, Nacht prepared to open a Shadow Gateway to the Spade Kingdom.
"This is it. This is our counter attack."

-Grim Pov-
"So, that was what a demon looked like up close."
After watching Zenon point a demon in the direction of the Clover Kingdom, Grim couldn't help but feel disappointed. Compared to the devils and dark triad, the demon was nothing more than a glorified mass of mana with legs. While it might be difficult for most mages to deal with it, Grim estimated that if he got serious, killing it would only take a single swing of his sword.
As for the fate of the Clover Kingdom… Well, they had survived one ancient demon attack before. Dealing with a second one shouldn't be outside the realm of possibility.
But if they somehow do manage to lose and the ancient demon destroys the kingdom, he'll live up to his title and slay the demon after dealing with the devils.

"Well, well, well. Would you look at that."
Sitting in his lab and looking at one of the many monitors mounted on his wall, a small smile appeared on his face.
"Moris."
Walking into the room and carrying an air of seriousness around him, Zenon called out to the magic scholar.
"I know." He smiled and looked at another screen.
"The remnants of the former royal family have finally shown themselves."

'This rumbling... Don't tell me-'
Sensing a huge mass of mana erupting out from beneath the earth of the Spade Kingdom, he looked to Vanica for answers.
Sitting on a floating throne made from solidified blood, a giggle escaped her mouth as she saw him look over at her.
"Little Zenny woke up the other Legendary Ancient Demon."
"You had another one!"
'What the actual fuck! How many demons are these guys hiding?!'
"Meh." She shrugged. "It's just there to deal with any undesirables outside the castle. Compared to the coming devils, its nothing worth taking note of."

Suddenly sensing a familiar mana signature erupt from the outside of the castle, for the first time since arriving in the Spade Kingdom, he was left speechless.

Standing in front of the ancient demon and pushing it back with a single punch, an orange haired woman laughed out loudly as torrents of flames roamed all over her body.

Teleporting into the castle through Nacht's shadow magic, the chosen captains of the Clover kingdom alongside Yuno and a couple of others sensed the outburst of mana erupting from outside the castle walls.

Feeling her mana, many gasps escaped from the mouths of the Clover Crew.
