" School?!" Adrean shouted in the heat of the moment. Their father, Maxwell Hyson, had come with their mother, Evelyn Hyson, to tell them that they would be attending school. Adrean was properly dressed in a full neck and long sleeve shirt alongside black trousers, his previous clothes discarded somewhere. One would think he walked out of a magazine.

"But father, mother, we are already past that stage. You have taught us everything we need to know. Why do we need to go to school? "Azrael opted for a more mild reactionand approach than Adrean in favor of the expression on their guardians faces.

Evelyn glanced at Maxwell and found him looking at her as well. She then cleared her throat and loked at the five kids. However her gaze met with the maid who had opened the door for them. Her black eye looked so similar to that damn man that it shocked her to the core when she looked at the maid for the first time. Evelyn gritted her teeth in disgust and lingering fear as a memory played in her head.

It was the same eyes, Lefu's eyes, looking at her with emotions that spoke volumes of anger and fury. He was bleeding out, dying.

She shook her head slightly to get the image out her head before addressing the kids. Her plan couldn't go to waste. It was already off course due to that man. She had to get the kids to move before her grandfather, Master Kraz, made another move. He had already sent this Lefu looking maid. What next? He'll bring Lefu back? Anyways, thats immposible, she made sure to end him. Painfully.

"Yes my dearies, you need to attend school. The times have changed and humankind have started intergrating with our society. You need to learn of the current times, magic, spells and whatsoever. Alright?" Evelyn spoke sweetly and coaxingly. Though inside, she ground her molers. These brats really reached out to their grandfather! Otherwise, why would he send this watchdog for them? Evelyn looked at Kiera. They even dared to question her decision! She had to do something!

Watch dog? Kiera's lips twitched and a vein popped on her neck. This woman called her a watch dog? Heh..

The five glanced at each other and just as Azrael was about to speak up, Evelyn said,

"After all, you don't want to disappoint Master Kraz with your lack of knowledge? Right?" She hit a spot where she knew it would work even though it turned her intestines green. She really hated that the five favored Master Kraz more that her when she was the one who took care of them! All because of that damn man telling them to not trust her and follow the old man's instructions and advice instead.

Argg, even though he was long gone, he was still managing to ruin her life. Evelyn spat on his corpse mentally.

Hearing their mothers words, the five looked at each other shocked and a bit convinced. Master Kraz also wanted them to study in school? Of course they had to go.!

Although that wasn't what Evelyn said, she managed to plant the thought in their heads smartly.

"Well then it is decided, we will inform you on when you'll be in attendance. For now enjoy your free time while it lasts." Maxwell spoke up for the second time on seeing the smile on Evelyn's face. He was only here to back up and protect her, so he said a few words.

"I.. we guess.. alright. Thank you for telling us mother and father." Azrael stuttered for a second before gaining his bearings. The other four also repeated the last stated ment in unison while bowing to the two.

Kiera looked at all this in distaste and anger and thought to herself. Nothing changed at all...

She could clearly see the fear in the five kids who were bowing. She could see that they only agreed to go due to Kraz's name being mentioned. She could see the reluctance in their words and actions.

Kiera let out a quiet sigh. She caused this. If only she hadn't left her guard down around this conniving woman..

[Ha. I'm glad you realize you're to blame.(⁠☞ﾟ⁠∀ﾟ⁠)⁠☞]411 deadpanned.

(Ass. Aren't you supposed to comfort me?) Kiera wished she could kick the system to death but that would have to wait.

[I am... I am simply telling you the truth. ]411 said emotionally, mocking Kiera. If Kiera could see his expression it would be like:¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠눈⁠‸⁠눈⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯.

Still, 411 managed to lift her mood slightly so she was thankful.

"Good, that was all we had to say," Evelyn said, making the little hope in the fives eyes dimm down. Of course, what else would they come for? To visit them like a family? Yaranyl scoffed and Adrean clenched his fists, Achlys pouted slightly and Azrael pursed his lips meanwhile Damien just rolled his eyes, expecting the heartlessness.

"Now we shall take our leave. Have a great day kids. "She finished. She then took her purse from the table and paused in her steps before she reached the door, Maxwell stopping alongside her. Evelyn then turned her head slightly to glance at the maid before saying to the kids, "Also.. bring that maid along with you."She then turned around, her hair fluttering behind her as her heels clicked on the ground. Maxwell trotted behind her silently and opened the door for her before leaving too and closing it shut in the shocked and confused faced of the five.

Bring the maid with them!?

I had to put this here.

A light misunderstanding is that, Master Kraz is their grandfather. Adrean refers to him as father sometimes since other that Lefu, Kraz was the only one who took care of them properly, like a father figure. Since Lefu trusted him and hang out with Kraz often despite him being Evelyn's father, they also decided to trust him and true to Lefu's words, he helps them from time to time.

They have no choice to be under Evelyn's and Maxwell's care since Lefu was gone and Kraz has his own things.
