Chapter 9: New environment
"Oi Shin... don't tell me you are in love"
"Don... don... don't say such things Rei"
"Eh? but you are all red "
"You too Cecily your red, don't tell me you've fallen for him too"
Maria teases Cecily
"Don't say such things Maria"
Cecily hid her face under her palm
"Well, l this is youth.
Even I have fallen for this beauty beside me"
He gazes at Maria with his hot blue eyes
Hmm.. she scoffs at him
"Don't even think about it "
"Oh? Is that so?
Then how about this, if I make you fall for me before our seventeenth birthday I get to kiss you. Deal?
He stretches his hand for a handshake
*Hmmm.... deal"
She stretches her hand to return the handshake.
Their hands met each other
"Such softness"
Rei remarks before kissing it
"Hey!! I didn't permit you to do that"
She pouts
After the tension had cleared up for some time
Rei brings up an idea
"Hey since you guys know the city and we are new"
"That reminds me, where do you say you're from again"
Maria looks at Shin in turmoil
"Hummm... we.."
"We are from a distant land we just came here with our grandparents"
He immediately interrupts Shin who was in the middle of his sentence
"Oh is that so, well we don't mind showing you guys around"
For hours the group walked around the kingdom and visited many places in the kingdom. The more time their bond drew closer, except some certain people...
"I told you that won't work"
Maria rejects Rei
"Won't you at least accept this ring I bought for you as a token of my love"
He forks out a ring box and presents it to her as if he was proposing
"Ok I will take it but don't bother me again"
She collects the ring and put it o get index finger, immediately a brought light shined around the area which attracted some passersby to look at the group
"Hey rei what is the meaning of this"
Maria glares at the ring
"I added some spells to it so now anytime you're are lonely you just whisper my name and ill be there"
Rei grins
"So this is some kind of magic equipment"
She looks at the ring and notices the diamond in the middle of the ring which released some kind of sorting aura that calmed down her nerves but she didn't realise that it was natural energy that was directly emitted from Rei so in other words the ring is connected to Rei.
"Hmmm... I guess you can call it that"
He draws closer to her
"So now do you accept me"
"Not even in a million years to come"
"You're so mean!!"
Rei's mood drops.
While the two were discussing the other two came out from the jewellery store
"Rei kun what's the problem "
Cecily asks Rei
"It's Maria, she won't accept my true feelings"
He points at her
"Eh what did you just say, you're the one bordering me"
"I'm not bordering you, that is just my love "
Jezzz....
She snorts at Rei
"Cecily I'm leaving"
"Shin kun, Rei kun see you guys next time"
The duo left the group and departed
"Shin we should probably get home too, tomorrow is our exam don't forget that"
"Yeah, we have to prepare"
The two went back home after such a long day that they won't forget anytime soon

Later that day in the night
In a very dark room lay Maria who was deep in her slumber. She didn't notice the intense light which the ring was emitting. Maybe it was due to the natural energy. She hasn't been introduced to natural energy yet, so she couldn't feel it.

Yawn.....
Maria jumps out from her bed walks towards her bathroom washes her body and left for breakfast
"Ara... Maria sama you're up early, are you that excited about the exams today"
One of the maidservants greeted her
"Yeah she takes her sit and begins to munch her food"
After a short while, she was done with her meal
'For some reason, I fill light, what's this feeling'
"Rosa san would you please tell father and mother I'm off for the exam "
"Okay, take care Maria sama, and I wish you success in your exam"
" Thanks"
She dashes off only her fading figure could be seen
Meanwhile at the other side
"197, 198, 199, 200!!"
Huff Huff...
Rei pants heavily
"I reached 200 today maybe I should aim for 300, my natural energy is really helping me out. I should go take my bath"
Rei moves into his bathroom
Shizzz....
He on's the shower
Knock knock...
Rei sama your breakfast is ready
One of the maids conveys the message to Rei
"Thanks, I'll be down in a few minutes"
After a few minutes, Rei was downstairs munching his food with Shin
"You guys should make sure you pass the exams"
"Gramps how do you think we will fail"
"I'm just doing what a grampa should do at this point"
Rei and shin finished their meal and are ready to depart
"Thanks for the meal"
"Good luck with your exams"
"Thanks, gramps"
The two left the house

At the school premises
Rei and shin enter the first building which was leading to the examination block
Many were gathered summing up to 600 people
"Hey, Shin are you sure this is the venue"
"Yeah look at the population, it's a sign that this is the registration block ahead we should be approaching the examination block"
Glare glare....
Rei stares around his surroundings
'Somebody is watching me who would that be"
"Shin move to your right "
Hmmm....
Shin moves a little bit to his right, swiftly dodging the hand of a blonde-haired boy making him trip and fall
"And who would you be?"
"How dare you do this to me, I'm Kurt von ritzburg..."
"Shin lets go we are too old for this"
The two left the blonde boy still laying on the floor
Hmmm.....
Rei turns back to get where this intense but calm aura is coming from
"How dare you use your family name in the school premises"
"Oh great another blondie "
"Shin let's get going "
Wait...
The second blond boy dashes towards them
"Sorry for my late introduction"
"And who are you"
Rei scrutinise him
"I'm August von earlshide, my close friends call me Aug"
"You're uncle Dis's son"
"Oh? this is the first time I've heard someone address him as uncle dis"
"I've heard plenty stories about you guys from my dad, I guess you guys are here for the exams"
"Yeah we were just about to enter the examination hall"
"Ok then make sure you pass too"
"Let's give it our all"
They both depart and enter the examination hall
