Victoria stood up from the bed in order to go to that man named Adrian Sinclair, her movements slow and deliberate.
But she was immediately shocked to realize something was wrong with her body and then she tried to make sense of what was happening.
Her eyes fell on her sister, Cassia, who stood a few feet away, eyes wide with a mix of fear and confusion.
