In the end, Armia ended up staying over the night.
When Melisa asked if she could, Margaret didn't look particularly surprised but did regret that they had no clothes in Armia's size to give her.
"It's alright, Mrs. Blackflame," Armia said, her voice soft (and a little breathy). "I'll manage."
Margaret smiled warmly.
"Please, call me Margaret."
"R-Right."
Melisa and Armia stayed up late, for obvious reasons.
By the time they finally drifted off to sleep, Melisa had been about to pass out anyway.
And, when she woke up, Melisa was so sore she stayed still for about half an hour.
Soon, Armia woke up too and, with some help from Armia, Melisa sat up on the edge of the bed.
Armia looked worried.
"Do you think Isabella will be angry about this?"
