4 Mrs Curious, Follow My Steps.

The head maid, Lydia gave Sophia one of the personal maids a sign for her to follow her outside the hall and she did.

"Didn't I tell you to add poison to the princess's food? Why is she still alive?" Lydia half yelled at Sophia. They were both at a corner which was so quiet since everyone is at the ceremony.

Lydia and Sophia were working for princess Sloane even though they were known as servants in Knoxville kingdom.

"I did that, Lydia. I poisoned her food and I know she ate it, but I wonder why she isn't dead by now. Princess Sloane is going to skim us alive! We are done for!" Sophia lamented with worried eyes.

"Are you sure she ate the food?" Lydia asked once again.

"The poison is supposed to kill her two hours after she ate the food and I personally packed the plates to the kitchen." Sophia said, biting her nails.

"We are dead meats! Princess Sloane will kill us!" Lydia exclaimed.

"You should go back to the party and stop gossiping around."

Sophia and Lydia heard the familiar voice and turned back. It was Lady Flora, the King's concubine and also one of his wives.

"Greetings My Lady." They both chorused.

"What are you doing here?" Lady Flora asked, eyeing them suspiciously. Sophia and Lydia kept quiet and didn't say a word. But if Lady Flora actually heard their discussion then they are already dead and buried.

"Go back now and stop wandering around aimlessly. Don't force me to punish you." Lady Flora glared at them and they quickly hurried away after thanking her. They were both lucky she didn't hear what they were saying.

"Brats!" She sighed, walking to her chamber. "I just wish Edward could get serious one day and also get married. He behaves so childish, how is he going to rule this kingdom if he continues like that? Phew!! I feel so angry."

Back at the hall, King Diego stood up to express his gratitude to the guests and also declare Balder and Emily as husband and wife.

Emily and Balder were standing in front of the crowd, they neither had smiles on their faces, especially Balder, his fave of totally void of any emotions while Emily looked so afraid.

"I am so happy that you all are here to witness the marriage between my daughter and Prince BlackAce Balder. And now, I Diego Norixville declare Balder and Alexia as husband and wife!"

A thunderous applause was heard in the hall as the King finished talking. The other wives of King Diego weren't happy about this considering the deep frown on their faces . But who cares? They could fume the life out of themselves but can't stop this marriage.

"Those rats! I paid them to do a single job but they still failed! Argh! I hate you Alexia!" Sloane tightened her idts I'm anger. She wasn't happy at all seeing her beloved brother getting married to that scum bag of a girl!

She couldn't convince her father to call off the wedding or beg her mother to change his mind about the wedding. And that pains her a lot.

"I would make sure I break their bones into tiny pieces before leaving here." Sloane told herself.

"Thank you all!" King Diego waved at the audience and then the clapping stopped and the trumpeters stopped blowing immediately.

"Let the celebration begin! Food and drinks, I have here and of course there is good wine to calm your souls.

After the wining and dining, everyone moved to the ball room since it was time for Balder and Emily to dance. The thought of it made Emily to cringe in fright.

She didn't know how to dance at all, I'm fact she was a very bad dancer. Unlike Alexia who was an expert at dancing and swinging her waists, since dance class was added to the schedule at her Academy.

Emily and Balder moved up stage whilst others were watching them. Prince Balder didn't want to do the dance but hr just had to do it. He placed his left hand on Emily's waist, making her jolt. Her cheeks became red as crimson and even though Balder noticed it, he just ignored her and held her hand with his right hand, making her to froze this time.

" Don't be like that, people are watching." Prince Balder said with his eyes fixed to her face.

Emily swallowed hard, trying to take a hold of herself. Prince Balder touching her is just like her being electrocuted all over her body. His touch sent shivers down her spine.

"Don't you know how to dance?" Balder asked, seeing Emily wasn't following him.

She shook her head slowly and muttered, "I don't."

Balder was more than surprised hearing her words.

"This must some joke, Princess Alexia. I've heard that you in several dance competitions held in the Academy. Now you're saying you can't dance. Are you trying to tease me? I hate it." He mentioned.

'Now he thinks I'm teasing him. incredible! I'll just find a lie to cover up with before I put myself in trouble. ' Emily thought.

"I'm.... I'm not teasing you. I can dance but I tonight I feel so nervous since many eyes at starring at me. I have suddenly lost my ability to dance."

Balder chuckled. "Wow, so now you're shy. You dancing in front of hundreds of people in the Academy, Alexia."

Hundreds of people? Emily's heart began to beat fast. What is she gonna say again.

"That's the Academy. This is my wedding, Prince." Emily said and slowly looked up to see his ocean blue eyes.

Balder chuckled again, trying to figure out if she's lying or not. "Okay then. Mrs Curious, follow my steps." He said and Emily nodded slowly.
