With the 'shield' in place to fend off arrows, Leon no longer cared if the remaining Orcs hesitated. He rushed to the nearest Orc, swiftly killing it with a single, decisive slash.
The Orc he was using as a shield grunted in pain, not only from the injuries it sustained from the attacks but also from how Leon was mishandling its body. Leon would have preferred it dead; he didn't like the fact that he was making the poor creature suffer unnecessarily. However, with the pressure on him at the moment, he doesn't have time to spare to quickly kill the orc abd utilize it's dead body.
But still, Leon silently urged the other Orcs, taunting then to not hesitate but attack as soon as possible. Suddenly, he heard a swooshing sound and quickly maneuvered the Orc's body to block an arrow, positioning it so that the projectile would strike straight through the Orc's heart.
