Chapter 54 : I see land!!!

Luscious sighed as he walked across the deck " Are we there yet? This is taking too long ". Fay rubbed her temples " We've been sailing all night your majesty, its barely dawn. Please stop talking ".

Luscious didn't listen as he stomped his feet " What do you think the Lishflour people are like Fay "? Fay shrugged " I'm not sure sire, this is my first time here as well ".

Lucy suddenly got up and pointed at something. It stood above the sea and faint lights could be seen. They were all excited and said at once " Land "!!! Luscious was excited while Fay and Lucy were relieved.

Luscious nodded approvingly " What time do you think we'd be able to get there "? Fay coughed, trying to mask her excitement of getting away from Luscious for a while " Could be three hours after dawn if we push ourselves or noon if we take our time ".

Luscious smirked mischievously " Alright, I'll see you there ". Fay furrowed her brows and looked back " What do you mean "?

Luscious turned into a black hawk and flew other their heads and into circles over their boat. By the time Fay realized she was supposed to be stopping him from going he had already flown off. Clenching her fists, she felt a vein throb " That guy drives me insane. Right Lucy "?

When Lucy didn't answer, she looked around and saw her perched on the railing, looking at her claws " I'm so sorry to have do this to you Fay ". Fay didn't understand till Lucy leapt over the railing with a mischievous grin on her lips.

Running to the railing, she was met with blue feathers that almost got into her mouth. Lucy had also turned into a hawk as she flew off laughing " Wait for me big brother ".

Fay shrieked as her claws pierced the wood and she helplessly watched the two fly away "You two better hope I don't find you ".

Not too far off in the south central sea, aboard a red and black painted ship that seemed to carry the devil's envoy, Axis, Lord of Verflog couldn't care less where it went.

Though it was barely dawn, they had to press on so they could reach Lishflour soon. Axis couldn't hide his smirk as he heard a familiar bird cry and looked up.

A black bird swooped on the deck and turned into a man, that man was his good friend Luscious. His voice normally sounded threatening and terrifying but that never seemed to deter him " You couldn't just stay still, could you "?

Luscious laughed " You know me so well Axis. Just going for a morning flight when I spot you looking so bored and lifeless ". Axis raised an eyebrow and Luscious added " Well, more lifeless than usual ".

Axis rubbed his neck " I dunno how much more of this I can take Luscious, Bonsi keeps nagging me about it as well ". Luscious stifled a laugh as he walked over to Axis " Is our crown princess bothering you "?

Axis rubbed his temples " You came all the way here to annoy me. Nothing else to do "? Luscious smirked, robbing his chin " You say that like you don't love having me around ".

Luscious teased and poked Axis for a while when he heard a swooshing sound. " I can't stop, clear out ", Lucy had being flying so fast to catch up with Luscious and now couldn't stop or control her pace as she crashed.

Lucy slowly opened her eyes when she didn't feel any pain and looked up at Luscious who was carrying her princess style " You still have no proper control over your wings CC, you should stick to cats ".

Lucy pouted helplessly as he put her on the floor. Her face brightened when she noticed Axis who was standing not too far away " Brother Axis, you look amazing. See how Big Brother bullies me ".

Axis couldn't help but laugh as he patted Lucy's head, between her cat ears " It's alright Lucy, we'll deal with him later ". Lucy nodded silently, scolding her red cheeks when Luscious pulled her behind him " Look at you, trying to steal my lil CC right in front of me ".

Axis smirked, " You can't blame me, she likes what she sees ". Luscious squinted as he looked Axis up and down, from his waist long red hair and chiseled chest to his golden eyes and square jaw " I don't see it, just so and so ".

Axis felt his mouth twitch, " You're blind, get off my boat ". Luscious pouted slightly " Don't you want to come with us Axis ". Axis shook his head " I don't think I should. As the next Demon Lord, I should be responsible ".

Luscious nodded understandingly and shrugged," You're right. Just remember when Bonsi starts complaining in your ear, I gave you a free pass ".

That seemed to hit Axis as he held out his hand " Wait, I'll go with you. But only to scout. It's the responsible thing to do ". Luscious smirked as he patted Axis' back " You always make smart decisions ".

Again they turned into hawks while Axis looked more demonic with his red feathers and third eye between his other two and they flew off towards Lishflour.

An hour later, Bonsi woke up with her messy long light blonde hair only to discover her fiance had left the ship and her with it.
