Chapter 189 : ....In my mind?

Nectar gasped as she raised her head out of the water and coughed. Looking around, she realized everywhere was white. Except for the ankle deep blue water she was now standing in.

She tried finding a way out but she had a feeling nothing was gonna change. She suddenly heard the sound of flowing water and turned in the direction. She screamed and fell back into the water immediately she did [ What's going on? ]

A small slender white hand reached out to her, " Mother, are you okay "? She stared at him in shock, tears already blocking her sight as she managed to speak, " Howard "? The boy smiled, his red eyes glistening as always " Yes mother "?

She pulled him into her lap in the water, hugging him tight as she laughed despite the tears rolling down her cheeks. The boy managed to push away slightly and she suddenly touched his white hair, " What are you doing "?

She sniffed slightly with a smile on her face, " I just wanna touch you ". He pouted slightly, looking at her " Only this once ". She held his small hand and suddenly kissed it [ He's hands shouldn't be cold ] She took a deep breath and got up, the smile on her face already gone and replaced with a frown.

An angry shout escaped her throat just as quickly, " I know you're there. Come out ". Howard looked up at her curiously as Nectar was returned with silence. She clenched her teeth, kicking the water around her " Didn't you hear me?....COME OUT "!!!

She heard the sound of flowing water and realized the water beneath her feet was moving towards one direction. She was surprised when the water started to take on the form of a human being.

Howard pulled her finger, voice filled with fear " What's that "? As if remembering he was still there, she put him behind her. She suddenly heard a gentle refreshing voice as a face formed out of the water, " Why do you protect what no longer exists "?

Nectar raised an eyebrow, more annoyed than scared as she pointed at her own head " The better question is, what the fuck are you doing in my mind "? The surprise on the water's face was obvious but it suddenly smiled as it reached out a slowly forming hand out to her, " I knew you were interesting ".

With everyone already in their chambers, Eros had no idea why he felt restless. He kept pacing around his room, slightly unnerved and sleepless " Why do I have a bad feeling "? Pashidowl appeared in the darkness, the distinct blackness of the smoke surrounding him never ending.

" You're not the only one ". Eros sighed, turning his back to him [ What did I expect? ] " Very comforting ". He appeared in his front, " For once, I'm actually being serious ". Eros nodded nonchalantly " Of course you are ".

Pashidowl suddenly shrugged, " You should really take me serious. And your empress might be in trouble ". Eros suddenly frowned, speaking slowly " What do you mean trouble "?

Eros suddenly felt chills down his spine as Pashidowl appeared in front of him, " Is that worry I hear in your voice? It's almost like you actually care about her ". He shook his head aggressively, " Impossible "!

Pashidowl suddenly laughed, moving around the room " It doesn't really matter ". He suddenly appeared in his face again, " But you should be a little worried ". Eric frowned slightly, " And why's that "?

Pashidowl suddenly stopped flying all over the place and Eros had never heard him being serious about anything before. He suddenly looked at him, his voice as chillier than ever " Trewa's trying to take over Nectar's consciousness ".
