Luscious and Axis were both surprised when they saw Wheat. They looked at each other, confirming the look of shock on the other's face. Rick walked up to them with a smile, " You two look like you've seen a ghost ".

Luscious laughed nervously, " Are you trying to get us killed? Do you know what Fay would do to me if she found out "? Axis simply shook his head, " Bonsi gives a very good scolding. Strong enough to put a demon down ".

Rick scratched his chin casually, " Don't worry too much. It'll be fine ". Luscious nodded with a smile, " It'd better be ". Rick smiled reassuringly, " You two should calm down. You seem off already ".

Luscious took a deep breath, " Just no more surprises ". Rick nodded, " I'll try. I should go greet sister in-law ", waved at them and left. When Luscious remembered that Nectar's already met them, he couldn't help but laugh,[ I wonder what her reaction will be to see the guy? ]

Kancor was the first to react and rubbed her back lightly while he held her hand, " Are you okay "? Nectar nodded, still unable to speak [ Things can't just go well for me without taking a turn for the worst, can they? ]

Taking in another dip breath, she nodded " I'm fine ". Rick was also by her side, worried " This is my fault, isn't it "? Nectar shook her head, looking up at him with a slight smile [ I'm glad you know it is ] " Of course not Big brother ".

He seemed even more worried, " You don't have to spare my feelings ". Nectar smiled and held his hands [ Were my true feelings that obvious? ] " I'm serious, you really do remind me of your father Big brother ". He blinked a few times and suddenly hugged her, " And you're a lot like your mother too ".

He let go of her and she looked up at him with a sad smile, " You knew my mother "? Rick nodded, " Of course. My appearance just doesn't match my age you know ". Nectar laughed [ I've never even bothered to ask about her before ]

" If you don't mind, could you tell me about her sometime "? He nodded and someone bumped into Nectar. She nearly lost her balance but Kancor held her up with a slight frown, " You're so thin " [ And seem to be paler than paper all of a sudden ]

Nectar rolled her eyes and looked at Jewlica, " What did I tell you? No running around Ica ". She nodded as Nectar picked her up, " Where's Archie and Fauna "? Fauna seemed a bit breathless as she spoke, " Right here your majesty ".

Jewlica suddenly buried her face in Nectar's neck, " What's gotten into you Ica "? She mumbled and held on even tighter. Nectar laughed nervously, " She's a shy one ". Rick nodded and saw Archie looking up at him, " What's gotten into you too Archie "? [ He must want to be carried too ]

Archie did the same as he hugged Rick's neck, " I'm scared Uncle Ricky ". Nectar frowned slightly as she faced Fauna, " Do you know what's going on Fauna "? She bit her lip nervously, " It's nothing serious. I mean it is serious but not seriously serious ".

Nectar sighed [ She's babbling again ] " Spit it out ". Fauna gulped and closed her eyes, " Jewlica scolded the Demon Lady Dowager and I might, just might have maybe kinda sorta held her hand when she tried to hit Ica ". Nectar blinked in a daze as she looked at Fauna who was still fiddling with her fingers [ Good job! But I've got to act like I'm mad ]

She spoke seriously, " You could have handled the situation a lot better if you hadn't let your emotions get in the way of your judgment Fauna ". Fauna bowed her head, " Yes your majesty " and Nectar suddenly wanted to hug her [ Was I to mean? ] Rick laughed, trying to clear the air " How about we all go to the table instead "?

They nodded in agreement and walked. Nectar soon fell back beside Fauna who seemed so sad, " Don't beat yourself up ". She nodded, looking up at Nectar " You were right, I was too emotional. And now you're upset with me your majesty ".

Nectar giggled softly and patted her head with her free hand, " I just said all that stuff to seem serious Fauna. Your number one priority are the kids and I would actually be upset with you if she was able to hit Ica ".

Fauna sniffed lightly, " Really, you're not mad at me "? Nectar shook her head, " Not at all ". Fauna suddenly took a deep breath, " That's a relief, I was so scared. But what about the Dowager "? Nectar smiled reassuringly, " I'll take care of her. And thank you " [ I just wanted to eat good food ]
