" Are you still not talking with your sister "? Athena shrugged, her burnt orange dress going with her " That would be the situation ". Alice walked in as soon as she said that. She was dressed plainly in a cream dress and her hair in a ponytail. So simple, it was the opposite of eye-catching and she crossed to their side almost completely unnoticed.
Smiling, she gave a deep curtsey " Greetings Father. How have... " Christopher suddenly hugged her, better yet he smothered her with a smile " My purple dawn, I've missed you ". Alice smiled, trying to complete her sentence " You seem as well as ever father ".
He laughed putting her down, " My dawn and dusk are with me. Of course I'm complete ". Athena pursed her lips, no longer speaking [ Don't let her get to you ] She liked seeing her father in a good mood and she didn't want to end their visit badly. " I'm sure sister is too busy to care about the temple ". Athena frowned and snapped out of it, " Where did that trash come from "?
Alice only smirked, " I meant no offense lil dusk. You just seem so busy with royal duties now ". Athena put her hand on her chest, " That has nothing to do with my devotion to the temple ". She looked at Christopher, obviously upset " Father, tell her ". He hesitated, " I'm sorry ". Athena's frown deepened as she held out her hair, " Is it this stupid thing "?
Alice laughed, pointing at her eyes " You got it wrong dusk, it's the eyes ". Athena groaned in frustration, " Either way, I wish I never had it. Always giving this brainless sister of mine a reason to jab at me ".
Christopher frowned, " Now that's no way to talk to your sister ". Athena closed her eyes, took a deep breath and raised her hand " We're done here. I'll talk to you later ". She glared at Alice who remained as smugly confident as always, " And you, try not to ruin my peace celebration. Or hurt my guests either. I won't remember we're family " and walked away.

" Why must I be up so early "? Suki complained as she was dressed. Though she was talking to the servants, no one was stupid enough to give her an answer and a real reason to hit them.
" And besides, I'm pretty sure that rouge of an empress is still in bed ". Suki sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror. A dark pink linen inner and a long white coat with its rims covered in feathers.
" Will father still be able to make it "? One of the servants nodded, " Yes, your royalty. Your father will be coming with another ambassador from Nisrag so he's a little behind schedule ".
Suki nodded absent mindedly, " No problem. I wonder what father will bring me this time ". She smirked to herself, " I guess I don't have to play nice anymore. I feel today's going to be good ".
