Chapter 105 : Is she really oblivious?

Jiro couldn't help but laugh as he watched Nectar refuse to let the horse go. He'd been following her around all day trying to figure out her pattern to changing their stars but she wasn't really doing anything.

Simply shopping and having a good time but the way she did it was quite entertaining. But now he had someone else to worry about, Kancor.

The man was truly a surprise, his story had disappeared. His ring had burned more than usual last night and the cause of it all was Kancor but when he brought out the book, something was terribly wrong.

The rest of his story had disappeared and what was worse was how it was rewriting itself as he went about. Instances like this were rare, about one in a thousand but that could be in an entire century.

People like him were truly unpredictable, even for him but he was sure he had some sort of connection with Nectar just by the way he looked at her. The woman herself was oblivious to it all and it didn't really surprise him.

From the little he'd read about her story, that was her biggest weakness and the main reason for the tragic ending she was supposed to have. But the way she clung to the horse despite being discouraged from it made him feel otherwise.

[ She just doesn't care ] but all that didn't matter. He had to convince her to follow her destiny before all that she did would be permanent.

Nectar felt happy as she entered her courtyard, " Spending money makes me happy ". Though she'd spent the day doing just that, she'd being buying supplies for the next two weeks to a month.

She wasn't sure whether Eros was taking her with him just to put her in her place or humiliate her but she wouldn't wait around to find out. Especially with his mother appearing during the celebration.

In fact, more royalty would be appearing at Season's Castle and she honestly had a bad feeling about it. Nectar sighed again as she walked past all the stuff, " I should think of a counter attack quickly ".

During this event, a lot was bound to happen but it might not be exactly according to her plan as she'd already messed up the timeline really well but if things weren't too far off track, she still had an ace up her sleeve and she'd need Blair to do it .

Eros clicked his tongue as the shadow guard gave a full report of what Nectar had been up too but it was all apparently normal. But from all the things she'd bought today alone, it seemed she was preparing for an attack of some kind.

The shadow guard swiftly disappeared as soon as he finished his report and Pashidowl appeared laughing, " I must say, I find this wife of yours interesting ". Eros frowned slightly [ I can't let him provoke me ]

Pashidowl flew from one side of the room to the other, " It seems our plan is doomed to fail at this point ". Eros sighed, " What makes you say that "? Pashidowl shrugged lightly, " First of all, you have no idea how to pursue her. Secondly, she's always on guard against you and Thirdly, you have so many competitors ".

Eros fought back his frustration with the whole situation, " This is a lot harder than I predicted. Athena seems to be raising her guard against me as well ". Pashidowl snickered, " She finally got some sense knocked into her ".

Eros wasn't sure how much longer his patience would last but he'd gain nothing by flaring at him, " You're not helping matters Pashidowl ". Pashidowl shrugged, flying high in the room " So you want my help? I'll give you a piece of advice ".

Eros waved out his hand dejectedly, " What is it "? Pashidowl appeared in his face and suddenly declared, " You're nothing like your ancestors Eros. They'd choose love over power any day....Hogwash to me honestly ".

" But you could learn something from them in how to pursue your love ". Eros was obviously disgusted and his face showed it, " Why would I do that "? Pashidowl shook his head, " This entire palace is filled with monuments of love between your royal family. But do you know how they did it "?

Eros was bored now and it must have been evident in his voice, " How did they do it "? Pashidowl chuckled, appearing in his face again " By getting to know the other party. Taking their interests to heart ".

Eros didn't have much time to think on it as he suddenly disappeared and the door to his study was opened. Leaning against the door with a playful smirk on her lips and still dressed in riding gear that seemed to fit her perfectly.

Eros smiled as he got up and held out his arms to her. She sighed defeatedly before closing the door behind her and entering his arms. They shared a long passionate kiss that begged for more until they were breathless and remained like that.

She was breathless but very happy, " Did you miss me Eros? Say you missed me ". Eros smiled as he lowered his head to her ear, nibbling on her ear as he whispered softly, " I missed you more than you can ever imagine Alice. I missed you ".
