Chapter 104 : I'll call you Rampage.

Nectar nodded from time to time until Liam finished lecturing her and she smiled, skipping to her horse " You're right Millie, but I went through so much trouble. Please let me keep her ".

Liam sighed and Axis stepped up, " I don't think that's a very wise decision ". Nectar furrowed her brows as she held on to her horse possessively, " Of course it is. It's mine ".

Axis was surprised [ Is she always so childish? ] " Don't misunderstand me your highness. But that thing you're holding is a Sephoc ". Nectar rolled her eyes and waved it off, " I know that ".

She'd learnt a lot about horses in her first life to please Eros and help him when he was going to war, " They cause death whenever provoked and their fur will grow darker with the amount of souls they've taken ".

The others felt their eyes bulge as Nectar spoke and Axis simply nodded, " You're right. It's extremely dangerous ". Nectar frowned, still holding her horse " I know that as well but I already promised her she could come home with me ".

Liam stepped in, " Is that really a good idea "? Nectar shrugged, " I don't care, the horse stays ". Both Axis and Liam sighed, thinking the same thing [ There's no getting through to her ]

Kancor who had been watching the whole time chuckled lightly to himself, " I think they make a good pair ". They all looked at him and Nectar gave him a thumbs up, " I knew there was a reason I liked you ".

He laughed as he walked closer to the two, " But you're gonna have to pay extra attention to it, make sure it doesn't cause any trouble ". Nectar nodded seriously, " Absolutely ".

Kancor made an big shiny apple and was about to hand it over to him when Axis' voice stopped him, " You should be careful Kancor, they don't take well to strangers ". He nodded lightly and held out the apple to the horse.

It sniffed it before suspiciously glancing at Kancor and finally eating it. It neighed in delight and nudged him with its head making him laugh, " You're welcome ". Nectar and Kancor fawned over the animal and Nectar suddenly brightened.

" I know what I'm gonna call her ". Nectar made a smug face as she spoke, " I'll call you Rampage.....you better like that name cause I'm not changing it ". The horse nodded in agreement and Nectar scratched underneath its head speaking in her baby voice, " Who's amazing? Rampage is amazing ".

The horse neighed in satisfaction and Nectar walked it towards the group, " Rampage, I want you to meet my friends. Remember, you can't hurt them and you have to let them ride you ".

Rampage bopped her head as if disagreeing and Nectar smiled, " Of course, if you don't want to I can turn you into a rug or even better, lunch ". The horse neighed in panic and bowed its head to them.

Jewlica excitedly reached out and patted her head, " Welcome Rampage ". They all took turns to touch the animal, obviously surprised by how calm it was being after nearly destroying the entire animal district.

Nectar was excited to have the horse. She knew this horse was connected to an important event in her first life but she couldn't remember what it was. In fact, her memories were beginning to get a bit blurry.

It wasn't like she couldn't remember what, it was like she couldn't clearly remember it either. Nectar sighed as she looked at Axis, " I know you're probably thinking I'm irresponsible and reckless but I really want this horse. If there's anything you'd like to do to make Rampage appear a little more safe, go ahead ".

Axis nodded slightly [ How did she know what I was thinking? ] " I should thank you for being somewhat reasonable, I'll have to get back to you on that though ". Nectar nodded, satisfied to keep her horse.

She was so busy showing off her new horse, she didn't notice the smiling figure hiding in the shadows not to far away.
