Alex had finished writing all the details for the quest he was giving them. Although it wasn't his intention, they had the opportunity to receive a class-change item, which would depend on their performance and effort. Alex had also gotten everything he needed and started to head back to the Black Sea Hotel. However, he wasn't conducting the trade with Elder Qin as he was busy. Nevertheless, he felt it would be better for everything to be done. He also desperately needed the Dimensional Stone. The Black Sea Hotel was crowded with people, but Alex was easily able to spot the person he was looking for: Amethyst. Her striking purple hair stood out among the crowd. Alex and Mia swiftly walked up to her, and Alex said, "Hey, Amethyst! I've got everything on my part. What about you?"

"Mhm. We've also got everything and are able to conduct the trade anytime."

"Alright, let's do this."

Amethyst motioned for them to follow her and went to a separate room. The room displayed the Dimensional Stone in all its might: a beautifully shaped stone that changed colors every second. Alex stared at the stone, becoming mesmerized. He shook his head, snapping out of it, and started to conduct the trade with Amethyst. He gave her the paper filled with information relating to the legendary mage weapon. He also let the 30 people use the Fire Resistance Potion recipe. After he was done, Amethyst gave him the Dimensional Stone. He quickly checked the information using his Seeker Eyes. Once he checked the information, Alex felt he had hit the jackpot.

Alex was ecstatic about the stone's second ability. Unfortunately, the stone didn't transport multiple people. Alex had thought it was a group teleportation item, as that's what had been released by the Library of Secrets in the past timeline. Alex looked at Mia and wondered what he should have her do. Alex had brought her on this quest because he felt she would be able to help. Unfortunately, it seemed like she wouldn't even be able to go with him. While he was staring at Mia, an idea popped into his mind. Alex looked at Amethyst and asked, "Hey Amethyst, what are you doing after this?"

"Hmm? Well, the core group of the Library of Secrets and I are going to raid a dungeon."

"Really? Could you take Mia with you?"

"…"

"What!? Wasn't I going with you?"

"That was the plan, but my information was faulty."

"Huh?"

"The Dimensional Stone doesn't transport a group and only transports a single person."

"So? You're just dumping your baggage with me?"

"No, Mia isn't baggage. She's a fellow guild member."

"She's baggage."

"Could you not talk about me being baggage in front of me?"

Alex and Amethyst looked at each other and let out a laugh. While Mia didn't know it, her pouting face was adorable. Although Amethyst tried to keep a straight face, she just couldn't control herself. Alex said between his laughter, "I-I'm sorry, haha, I-it's just you're too cute!"

"Mhm! Mhm!"

"Y-y-y-you!!"

Mia charged toward Amethyst intending to hit her, but she tripped and fell on her face. Unfortunately for her, Alex and Amethyst burst out laughing. Mia was starting to tear up when Amethyst said, "Don't worry, I'll take good care of her."

"Haha, thanks. I'll see you two soon."

"Hey! Wait!"

Pretending not to hear her, Alex activated the Dimensional Stone. He disappeared from the place he was in like a ghost. Mia stared at the empty space with a downhearted expression, but her expression brightened up when Amethyst put her hand on her shoulder. She then said, "Hehe, don't worry. Let's give him a fright when he gets back."

"Y-yeah. I'll show him!"

Amethyst smiled at Mia's determination and felt she might have fun in the upcoming days.

Alex arrived at his destination and was immediately baffled. He had thought purgatory would be a land that was burning for eternity, infested with broken debris. The reality was different; he could see a beautiful clear blue sky. The only thing in sight was a healthy grassy plain, with grass blowing in the wind. The exotic aromas that assailed his nose made him smile unknowingly. While he was mesmerized by the sight in front of him, a barrage of system messages appeared.

While Alex seemed confused and astonished by the system messages, he felt a sense of discomfort in his body. The next second, he was on the ground, screaming in pain. In an astral perspective, you could see dark red flames burning his body. He writhed in pain, and his screams filled the grassy plains. The pain was so unbearable that thoughts of ending his suffering began to infest his mind. He began to wonder if it was worth going through this pain, if it was worth being subjected to this torture.

Alex kept hearing the arrival of system messages, but he ignored them. He started succumbing to his body's fatigue and began to slowly close his eyes. His eyes became increasingly heavy, and he felt someone's warm embrace. That's when he snapped his eyes open and yelled, "N-n-no! I-i-I-I! Refuse!

I- Guh! Re- Guh! Fuse!"

Alex was barely able to stand up and was grinding his teeth in excruciating pain. When he managed to stand up, albeit barely, he felt a calming sensation fill his body. While he lingered with the feeling, he began to throw up large amounts of black fluids. The amount was insanely high and completely tainted the ground black.
