After he signed the contract with Ryan, he sent him the information he had promised. The information was as follows: to obtain a rare quest, certain requirements must be completed, and each village has its unique quest. Alex knew that Ryan understood the implications of this information and that he could send someone to each starting village for their unique quest. Unfortunately for him, that wouldn't be possible as the unique quest had extremely difficult requirements, achievable only by elite players. This made the information either completely worthless or meant that his elite players would have to stay at the starting villages until they found and completed the unique quest. Either way, it significantly slowed down his progress. Alex had a few more hours before he needed to log back in, so he began to work out. Physical fitness in the real world would affect various factors inside the game. Therefore, Alex performed a basic exercise routine of five sets of 20 push-ups, five sets of 20 pull-ups, a one-kilometer run, and then five sets of 20 squats. Unfortunately, Alex didn't have any nutrient solution to expedite the process, but he could manage with just basic exercise. After he finished, he took a quick shower and logged back into the game.

Once Alex logged back into the game, he quickly made his way to the main square of the village. Upon arriving, he noticed that most, if not all, of the villagers were gathered there. Alex walked up to the village chief, who smiled upon seeing him. The village chief began addressing the villagers, saying:

"I know this was sudden, and all of you have work to do, but this is very important. We recently received information that the mana near us has been corrupted. While many of you may not fully grasp the severity of the situation, I can assure you that it is extremely dire. Fortunately, the same person who informed us of this has a solution. He asked me to gather everyone for an announcement."

As Alex approached the village chief, he noticed that most of the villagers were giving him a strange look. He didn't mind and continued walking. Once he reached the chief, he began to speak:

"Hello, I know most of you don't know me, but I am familiar with this village. Someone whom you all believed had abandoned you has returned to offer help. Yes, Chronos, the deity you once believed in, has learned of your predicament and wanted to assist. He brought me here to perform a miracle, to purify the corrupted mana and restore it to its original form. Now, bear witness to his miracle!"

Alex took out the Crystalized Mana from his pocket and used the purify ability. The Crystalized Mana began to shine, and the mana surrounding them started to clear. If one looked closely, they would notice the air around them taking on a myriad of colors, with a faint layer of mist forming. The younger villagers looked around in awe, while the older villagers began to collapse in tears. They had witnessed the village in its prime and knew that the faint layer of mist signaled the return of their former glory. Living on a Mana Vein had numerous benefits, which had led to the village's prosperous days. With the appearance of the faint mist, the older villagers knew that their glory days would be restored. Some of them even began bowing down in Alex's direction. As is often the case, the younger generation followed suit, and Alex's quest rapidly neared completion. However, he didn't want to turn in the quest just yet, as he wanted to try and fulfill the hidden condition. Although he had no idea what the hidden condition entailed, he wanted to attempt a few things before completing the quest. He aimed to clean the church and find someone to become Chronos's priest. While cleaning the church was relatively easy, finding a suitable candidate for the position proved more challenging. Fortunately, he already had someone in mind. He approached the chief and inquired if he had assigned someone to guard the church. The chief hadn't done so, but a lone guard had taken it upon himself to protect it, fearing potential damage. With some simple persuasion, Alex managed to convince the guard to become the church's priest. Within 30 minutes, the church looked as good as new. Feeling satisfied with his progress on the quest, Alex approached the symbol of the watch depicted in stained glass within the church. He knelt down, pressed his palms together, and whispered softly:

"I have completed your mission."

A few seconds later, system messages began to appear. Looking at them, Alex couldn't help but smile blissfully.

With his new stats, he couldn't help but smile; the feeling of becoming stronger was always addictive. He began gathering the items he wanted to keep, such as the Crystalized Mana, coins, the spell book he received and his worn-out iron sword. His gaze shifted toward the teleportation array inside the chief's house. He smiled at the chief and said:

"Well, this is goodbye, sir. I hope the village flourishes in the times to come."

"Ahaha! It will, Lucifer, it will. I'll make sure of it."

Alex nodded to Robert and stepped onto the teleportation array. Once activated, numerous locations appeared with price tags next to them. He quickly located his desired destination:

Violet Kingdom: Violet City, the capital city of the Violet Kingdom.
