The ball's with Team V now, passing it around until it reaches Reo who knows he's about to be double-marked. So, he sizes up the situation, thinks up a play, and passes to Zantetsu on the right flank. Chigiri's right on him, marking him closely. Zantetsu tries a few tricks, stepping over the ball and nudging it forward to challenge Chigiri in a speed duel. Chigiri sticks with him, shoulder to shoulder, and Zantetsu can't shake him off.
"Pass to me," yells Reo, and Zantetsu realizes it's Reo next to him calling for the ball.
After the pass, Reo's already planning his next moves. As soon as he gets marked by Raichi in midfield, he uses his body to shield the ball, buying enough time for Zantetsu to make a run down the sideline and launch it back to him.
"Go, Zantetsu!" Reo shouts.
Zantetsu sprints with Chigiri hot on his heels toward where the ball's gonna drop, managing to get there first. As he gets close, he gives it a light tap, trying to keep up the speed duel towards the endline.
"Pass it again," Reo calls out, now in a line parallel to Zantetsu. Even though Zantetsu wants to keep battling Chigiri, he believes passing is the better move. However, his pass gets intercepted by Isagi, who regains possession for Team Z and starts moving back to midfield. But Reo's determined to win it back and starts pressing Isagi, who, just before Reo can tackle, passes to Igaguri approaching from the left wing. Igaguri spots Arata who's moved out of the box to set up a play. They form a triangle: Igaguri with the ball, Arata moving to receive a pass with a defender on his back, and Bachira ready to sprint down the right wing. Igaguri passes to Arata, who quickly flicks it with his heel to Bachira at the intended point, allowing Bachira to sprint forward. After taking possession, Bachira performs quick stepovers and flicks the ball over the legs of an approaching defender, attempting to disarm him, and keeps running until another defender comes his way. Then, he passes him utilizing only his speed and heads toward the endline. But at a certain point, he slows down, waits for the defender to regroup and attempt a tackle again, then, as he gets close again, he chops the ball toward the penalty arc, spotting Arata sneakily bypassing a marker and attacking the space in the penalty area. So, Bachira does a mini lob that goes over that marker, and the ball drops in the penalty area slightly to the right in front of Arata, who feints to shoot, causing a defender to dive in front of him, but it's actually a fake. After evading the fallen defender, he shoots the ball into the top corner with a trivela shot.
"Damn, that was one heck of a shot," Arata proudly comments.
"Wow, that was a precise shot with your left foot," says Bachira.
"Didn't you say you were right-footed?" asks Isagi.
"I'm ambidextrous. Whichever foot lands, I'm already kicking. Screw it," says Arata, laughing.
"You say that like it's nothing. You really are a beast," concludes Isagi. 3-1 (Team Z)
Now Team V has the ball, and after a quick pass in their own defensive half, they find Reo. Again, he holds onto it, making some spins to dribble past Team Z's defenders to give Zantetsu time to run down the endline. After receiving Reo's pass, he has an idea to be bolder. So, he runs down the sideline and gets marked by Igaguri, who can't keep up with his speed and is easily surpassed. Then it's Chigiri's turn, but contrary to what he expected, Zantetsu doesn't try to run further to the endline; instead, he cuts toward the middle of the field toward the penalty arc and attempts his finish with his left foot aimed at the top corner of Team Z's goal, but Gagamaru manages to tip the ball over the goal, preventing a good play by Zantetsu. Reo prepares to take the corner kick for Team V, and he crosses it into the box towards Nagi, who uses the inside of his foot to make the ball go high. After doing so, he notices Iemon behind him to mark him. So, he performs his trap and pretends to shoot, slightly changing the direction of the ball, and then volleying with his other foot, putting it into the back of Team Z's net. 3-2 (Team Z)
After Team V's goal, as they were about to put the ball back into play at the kickoff, "Hey, Kunigami, as soon as the game restarts, pass it directly to me," Arata requests.
"Okay," agrees Kunigami.
As soon as the game restarts, Kunigami passes the ball to Arata who, after receiving possession, explosively runs straight, passing Nagi and Zantetsu, and now another defender comes his way in midfield. Then, even while still running at high speed, Arata nutmegs him and keeps running alone through midfield until he receives a double mark, leaving both Chigiri and Bachira free, but Arata is determined to score a solo goal. So, he goes for an individual play, performing some stepovers and nudging the ball forward to try to outrun the two defenders desperately trying to keep up. Unexpectedly, Arata changes the direction of his body and slips between the two markers, who almost bring him down, but he stays on his feet, leaving only one defender to beat with his speed. Now facing the goalkeeper one-on-one, he dodges the keeper with a quick cut to his diagonal, dribbles past him, and shoots the ball into the goal without looking, turning his face at the exact moment, just like Ronaldinho Gaúcho, and celebrates with the "Samba". 4-2 (Team Z)
