Chapter 81: The video (3):

As soon as we reached the living room I turned on the TV in the hope that Aunty could connect her phone quicker. "Huai Yu, how did you do it again?" Aunty asked addressing Uncle. "Uh, I don't remember," Uncle replied. "Aunty Fu, how about you let me try?" suggested Song Ze Yu. Aunty looked at him in doubt but still handed his phone to him.

I'm not sure what he did but after a few seconds, the phone was indeed connected to the TV. "Ma, I told you Ze Yu was useful," boasted Ah Ning as everyone laughed. I suppose I could've helped as well. I mean I did take computer science as one of my dual major. The other one was of course business and economics.

Aunty then clicked onto her messenger app where an anonymous person sent her something. It was a video. She opened the video and I heard myself gasped. It was Hui Qing... I recognised her even when she looked haggard. She still looked like my lovely Hui Qing.

"Hui Yun, was that the clothes your sister was wearing yesterday?" asked Uncle as she nodded. "So, I think we can gather that this is Hui Qing. Ok, the good news is that she's still alive. The bad news is alive somewhere," stated Fu Huai Zhan as everyone glared at him. He looked a bit offended but didn't say anything.

We watched the video in silence. We watched how the mad person beat Hui QIng up at the end of the video before the screen turned black. Then another mechanical voice came. It said that we've 48hrs to prepare this money. After 48hra and they still haven't gotten the money, they'll kill Hui Qing. He/ She will contact us later on how they can get the money. And it deliberately said not to call the police.

"Well too late there," uttered Hui Yun. "The police have already been notified. "Aunty, can you send me this video? I'll try working on it now and see what I can do to find Hui Qing. I suggest someone make the trip towards the police office secretly and give them this video. Remember no one must find out that we've called the police," ordered Song Ze Yu as everyone nodded.

I seemed to notice that everyone in this house had a weird sort of attitude towards this guy. Was there some feud between them? I mean if they had some feud I'm not sure they will let Song Ze Yu into this house.

Everyone began to get to work as Ze Yu ordered everyone around. I stood on the side not knowing what to do. Su Mu looked at me and we shared a knowing look.

At this point, it was when I checked my phone. "Yes!" I screamed in delight as everyone turned towards me. "What's wrong?" Aunty Fu asked. "Aunty, I have got a way to find Hui Qing," I stated. "What?" everyone screamed in excitement. "What is it?" Song Ze Yu asked. "Previously, I gave Hui Qing a smartwatch. It can track her location. She has to send me her live location. I think the kidnappers must've taken her phone but not her watch," I explained slowly.
