Back to Hui Yun's POV:

After I ended the call with Qi Yan. I immediately asked Ru Yu to rush me to the nearest hospital first. Ru Yu rushed me to the hospital his friend owns. I quickly saw a doctor from the maternity department and asked them to check on my child. It's been 4 months already so there's no reason for a miscarriage, but just to be on the safe side. As I felt a little nauseous and my stomach hurt. The doctor checked my baby with an ultra scan. Everything was fine. The baby was healthy, he/she just showed some signs of miscarriage. I just need to have some more nutritious food and I'll be all right. Because of the law in China, we aren't allowed to know the baby's gender in case the mother decides to abort it. Abort it because it isn't a male. There is a very stereotypical belief that only males can pass on the family name.

The doctor has just gone to print the ultrasound photograph. We also did a DNA test with the baby whilst I was in the hospital. Hence it was only the two of us. We were separated from the world by a curtain. So Ru Yu began to start a conversation with me. "Do you want the child to be a boy or a girl?" asked Zhao Ru Yu. I looked at him sincerely and whispered "A little boy. Because I hope he would never be bullied,". When I said this sentence, I meant something else. I believe Zhao Ru Yu understood because his face looked more serious. I hope that Zhao Ru Yu's parents will like this child, and then he/she won't need to suffer that much. "But if it's a sweet little girl, I wouldn't mind. When I was younger I always wanted a girl," I added.

"What would you name your son or daughter," he asked as he sat down next to me. "If it was a girl I would name her Yi Ran. This name means joy and brightness. I wish that she grows up happy and bright. If it's a son I hope his name is Jun Jie which means outstanding. To be honest as parents when we give a child a name is so that they can live up to that name. I only wish that my child grows up happy, healthy and smart," I explained whilst sipping some water Ru Yu had gotten me.

"What would you have named your son and daughter?" I asked. Ru Yu began talking "I knew when I was younger that my adopted father wasn't my birth dad but that didn't change anything. He adopted me because he didn't want to get married. I was adopted from an orphanage. Hence, I vouched that I'll be filial to him. I did everything I could to make him happy. But the only thing I couldn't give him was a child. I was devastated when I got my report back. I had a low sperm count, I was practically infertile. So all the baby names I looked up online before were useless.

Do you remember when I broke up with my fiancé? It was a big deal 2 years ago. I broke up with her because I knew she liked kids, yet I could not give her that. When I heard the news that I might be a father, I was so happy. So, I hope this is my child. Even if he/she isn't... I'll still care for her as an uncle. I'm Qi Yan's good friend and Hui Qing's business partner, so I'll be able to make the uncle list.

Anyways, back to the main point. I looked online for the babies' names the moment you left the building. If it was a daughter then I wish for her to be called Ming Zhu. Which means pearl. She'll forever be the precious pearl in my hands. If I had a son I wish for him to be called Zi Mo I don't know why though. I just like that name," explained Ru Yu.

"How about this? I quite like the name Ming Zhu but I do not like the name Zi Mo. Because the word Mo can mean ink and ink's colour is black, I don't want him to grow up unlucky. Call me superstitious or something. If it's a girl let's name her Ming Zhu. If it's a boy let's name him Jun Jie. How does that sound?" I suggested as Ru Yu agreed with my words. "If it's my child are you willing to allow him/her to have the same surname as me? Then I'll be able to give him/her my company," he asked as I nodded. This might be better for the child. If he grows up as the successor of the Zhao Company his life on the other side will be better.
