Chapter 23: What led to Fu family's demise and the end of my life:

Ok, right now I'm not going to be sleeping. Firstly I need to write down everything that had happen last time. I walked quietly and headed over to my study grabbing a paper and pen I listed down everything I could remember:

1. 18/03/22 On the day of my birthday Qi Yan and my engagement was set. I rejected him and many rumours spread about how I was not being humble and all. I ran away and looks for Fen Xiu Ying. On the same day, I got drugged and she sent me to sleep with some ugly man. The next day reporters came and the media knew everything. How I slept with another guy right after I was engaged. Luo Wen Ning used this as an excuse to break up with me. But I begged him not to. He considered it and agreed but the deal was that I had to listen to everything he wanted me to do. Bad idea. I ruined my whole family due to that.

2. A year later I got married to Qi Yan and it was an unhappy life for both of us. We only consummated our marriage when I was drunk and mistook Qi Yan for Wen Ning. His pride must have been deeply hurt when I called Wen Ning's name out loud. Due to this, I made sure I would never drink when Qi Yan was home. I had already graduated and set up my own business but I was stupid enough to be persuaded by Wen Ning to have the store ownership placed in his name. All of the profits I made were given to him to supply him with enough money to take his revenge.

3. She rescued a young boy a few months after my birthday and chose to change majors to psychology. Hui Yun's love story. She fell in love with a professor who already had a daughter and wife when they broke up Hui Yun committed suicide after knowing that the professor had never loved her but used her for her money and connections to get his daughter into a good school. When gege found out he killed that professor and his whole family in anger leading him to be jailed for life. I later investigated that the professor knew Luo Wen Ning however I failed to connect the dots. Mother grew sicker and sicker as gege was jailed. In the end, she died a year before father.

4. So in Yeye's generation, he had a brother called Fu Li Wei. This brother was kidnapped when he was 25 on the same day that Yeye's father was going to choose between the two who would be his heir. Fu Li Wei was kidnapped and after some complications, yeye agreed to the ransom as promised however just as they were making the deal a bomb exploded and Fu Li Wei dropped into the sea. Many officers searched for three days for his body but they still couldn't find it. After 7 years the government condemned that he had died.

However, he was rescued by a fisherman but he lost all of his memories. In the end, he married the fisherman's daughter and had Luo Si Fan. Luo Wen Ning's father. Luo Si Fan took on his mother's surname as Li Wei couldn't remember his own name. Li Wei only remembered everything when he was on his deathbed and couldn't do anything but he told the whole story to Luo Wen Ning and his father.

So the pair vowed to grab what was originally theirs. Luo Wen Ning was Fu Li Wei's grandchild and he wanted to take revenge. He plotted with his father to take over our Fu company. The company failed and since I had already divorced Qi Yan. Qi's family wouldn't help us. This happened when I was 27 a year after I divorced Qi Yan. Fu's family's demise was near.

5. I died a few days before my 29 birthday. After all that had happened, I was still foolish enough to believe that everything Wen Ning did for me was out of good intentions. So when I caught them on the bed together I was furious and hurt. I felt so betrayed. Fen Xiu Ying, I treated her like my true sister yet she was sleeping with my boyfriend behind my back. In short, Wen Ning told me everything and he even wanted to kill me after placing an incident tax on me, so in a fit of anger, I jumped from the balcony and died in a hospital bed.

'What else was there? I don't quite remember but this should be the most right? If I ever remember something I can always go back to it.' Grabbing another piece of paper I wrote down what has happened so far.

1. I woke up on 17/03/22 10 years before everything happened with my memories attached.

2. 18/03/22 my birthday. Everything happens exactly like it did last time. The only change was Luo Wen Ning and Fen Xiu Ying being drugged instead of me. And I had accepted Qi Yan and there were no rumours.

3. I went on a date with Qi Yan which I had never done in my past life.

4. Hui Yun experiencing the accident came quicker than expected. But she said the same thing.

Is this because of the so-called butterfly effect? Butterflies symbolize rebirth. So could it be because of this effect everything that was due to happen had been brought forward? I need to hurry up and deal with Hui Yun first. I can't let what happened to her happen this time. If she was already in love then no one would be able to seduce her and then gege will not kill anyone.
