Seeing Evan didn't reply to her question. Instead, he just smiled at her. She turned her gaze back to the front. She could see a few small roads on the left and right, but Sam's car continued straight along the smooth asphalt road up the mountain. Along the way, not once did she see their car pass another car.
After a while, their car turned right. As usual, there was a checkpoint a mile from the main road. Their car didn't stop. It slowed down as Sam exchanged a smile with the guard at the post. It was as if Sam had come to this place many times, and the guard recognized him.
Another minute passed, and Rose finally saw a two-story house with a modern design dominated by gray and black paint at the end of the road. Not far from the building, there is a small Chapel surrounded by colorful flowers. The gardens surrounding the Chapel and the houses were so beautiful.
