The sun appeared on the horizon as Evan and Rose were awake. But they didn't wake up right away. They do what they always do in the morning, cuddling and chatting before starting the day's activities.
"My dear wife, I'm so sorry I can't go with you to visit the mine site. But I'll try to pick you up once the meeting is over." Evan hugged Rose tighter while kissing her forehead gently. Rose happily smiled as she buried her face in Evan's sturdy chest.
After she was satisfied inhaling his unique scent, she looked him in the face before saying, "No problem. The meeting with Marvin to discuss cooperation with the Wilson Group is much more important than for you to come with me to the site and you don't have to pick me up there because we won't be there long."
