Rose's brow slightly wrinkled as she looked at the worried Laura.
"Laura, the one who asked me to return to my parents' house was Evan. You don't have to worry. Mmm... let's just say in the next few days I'm giving you a day off. So, enjoy your holidays..." Rose lightly patted Laura's shoulder before she got into the car.
Laura was at a loss for words. She couldn't argue with her young madam.
"Young madam, make sure you never go out without Oscar. promise me?"
"Hmm… I will."
Laura stood where she was, watching the black SUV disappear from her sight.
While in the car.
"L-Lady Boss, I know you are angry with boss Evan. But, I beg you, don't go to your parents' house. It will be complicated if your parents find out you are fighting with your husband..." said Oscar seriously.
Rose, "..." What did this stupid Oscar mean? Who's fighting with Evan?
