Lucian stood before the grand gate of Darkwood Villa, his hands crossed behind him, portraying an outward calm that concealed his inner worry.
His keen eyes were fixed on the villa as though he could peer into the mansion from his current location.
A few hours ago, when he saw Xavier suddenly return to Silenthill, he immediately knew something had happened to Iris. After the problem in District Three was resolved, he rushed to this city to check what really happened to make Xavier scared.
Knowing that something had happened to Iris disturbed Lucian greatly. And when he realized how close Iris had come to losing her life, his mind couldn't help but reel back to when Xavier had left, a rare display of anger in the usually calm man.
Lucian was responsible for Iris, and for her sake, he now stood outside the gate, waiting patiently for Xavier to allow him to enter. Because he respected him, he couldn't enter his property without permission.
