The forest was silent except for the soft thud of footsteps that echoed among the trees. No one could see the shadowy figure that moved with stealth and grace, leaving no trace of its presence. The only signs of life were the distant songs of birds that flitted from branch to branch, and the faint rustling of rodents that darted through the lush foliage. The gentle breeze caressed the leaves, creating a soothing rustle that masked the figure's movements.
Meilin crept into the dark forest, to investigate Malgorth's hideout. She blended with the shadows, evading the gaze of any creatures that lurked in tbe woods. She used her magic to conceal her tracks and sharpen her vision. Following a faint trail of dark magic, she reached the mansion which was massive and old. The building was guarded by a high wall and a foul moat of rotting animals and dry blood.
