"Fellow student! Can you tell me about your class with All Might?" I ignored the reporter and continued walking.
"Hey! Kid with the white hair! Answer our questions!" A man reached for my arm. I twisted my body away. The reporters didn't give up as they blocked the entrance to UA.
I covered a yawn with my hand. It's too early for this. I waved my hand, erecting a light wall around the entrance, pushing all of the reporters away.
"Rey."
I turned around. "Aizawa sensei. Good morning."
"Hey kid! Who let you use your Quirk like that? What if we got hurt?" The male reported shouted.
Mr. Aizawa sighed. "Please go away. You are disturbing the students from their classes."
"Who are you? Why do you look so scruffy? Where's All Might? We want to see him!" The reporters clamored.
"Let's go, Rey. There's no point wasting time with them." Mr. Aizawa said. I nodded.
I removed the wall after Mr. Aizawa and I both passed safely through the gates. Not long after, I heard a loud crash come from behind me. I looked behind me. A thick metal gate blocked out the reporters.
"The UA Barrier. It activates whenever someone tries to enter UA without a pass." Mr. Aizawa explained, not even bothering to look back.
Class was uneventful today. We selected the class representatives in homeroom. I didn't really care, so I just gave my vote to Deku. Turns out, Deku was voted as class representative and Momo as vice class representative. But, something interesting did happen at lunch.
"There has been a level 3 security breach. All students, please evacuate to the field immediately." An alarm sounded across the school.
A security breach? I took a bite out of my apple, sitting on the ledge of the cafeteria building's roof. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Nezu and the other teachers gathering at the UA entrance. What's going on over there?
I jumped off from the roof, creating footholds made of light to keep myself in the air. I maneuvered my way onto roof the main building for a closer look. The barrier I saw this morning is completely destroyed. Someone's Quirk? It can't be a reporter who did this. It has to be someone else. What is their purpose?
"Today's class will be under the supervision of three teachers: me, All Might, and another teacher. Today's focus will be on rescue training. Disasters, shipwrecks, anything you can think of, we will be covering today. In order to let you have the full experience, our class will be held in a different location. Meet me at the bus!" Mr. Aizawa said.
The class immediately started buzzing with excitement. I joined Deku and Uraraka in the back of the group as the class grabbed their hero costumes.
"We will be taking the bus to the USJ, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. Let's go." Mr. Aizawa announced.
"Everyone! Line up by your desk numbers. Single file line onto the bus!" Tenya, the newly appointed class representative, shouted.
After everyone found their place in line, we went on the bus and sat down.
"What do you think the exercise is going to be today?" Momo said.
"Knowing Aizawa, probably nothing good. I won't be surprised if there's another pop quiz or something like that." Sero commented.
I closed my eyes at the back of the bus. It's rescue training. We're probably be using our Quirks, so I should conserve my energy as much as possible.
After arriving at USJ, everyone got out of the bus and followed Mr. Aizawa to the building. A person wearing something like a space suit was waiting for us.
"It's the Space Hero: Thirteen! I love her!" Uraraka shouted.
Once the class quieted down, Thirteen cleared her throat.
"Good morning, class 1-A. I am Thirteen. My Quirk, as most of you may know, is Black Hole. I can suck up anything into my fingers and turn it into dust."
"It's such an amazing Quirk! You've helped so many people in disasters with your Quirk!" Deku said.
"That is true, but my Quirk can also just as easily kill. In a world were 80% of the population has a Quirk, some Quirks can be used to protect or to hurt. Thus, Quirk usage is highly regulated by the government in order to prevent such misuse from happening. You've all find out your hidden potential in Eraserhead's class and seen the extent of how dangerous your Quirks can be. In this class, you will learn how to use your Quirk to save people. You do not have powers to harm others. You have powers in order to protect and save. I want you to learn that you all have the power to help people." Thirteen said.
The class clapped at her speech. Thirteen gestured for the class to follow her inside.
"Woah, it's huge!" Denki said.
I looked around. I could see a ruined city at the end and a mountain to our right. There was a sinking ship to the far left, and we were standing in a civilian area.
Mr. Aizawa stood at the front of the group. "You heard Thirteen, today we will be lea-"
The lights suddenly went out. In the middle of the building, a dark portal appeared out of nowhere. It expanded to the size of a truck, and a pale man with blue hair walked through. More and more people spilled out of the portal.
"Sorry to crash the party, but we're here to cause some chaos. We are the League of Villains. I'm Tomaru Shigaraki, a pleasure meeting all of you! We're here to invite All Might to his death!" The man said.
"Stay back! Thirteen, protect the students! Denki, try to use your Quirk to contact the school. They must have a radio-related Quirk on their side, so the alarms didn't go off." Mr. Aizawa shouted, his scarf floating around his body. His whole body was tense.
"Who are they, Aizawa sensei?" Deku asked.
I could tell the newly arrived group didn't have any good intentions. "They're villains!"
"Aizawa sensei! You can't beat them all about yourself. There's too many of them!" Deku said.
"Izuku, no good hero is a one trick pony." Mr. Aizawa said. He ran forward and jumped into the fray of villains.
My hands have been itching for a good fight for a long time. I'm getting a piece of the action, too!
Summoning my pair of daggers, I followed Mr. Aizawa's lead. As he took care of the long-range attackers, I settled for the fighters. Quickly dispatching two grunts with a dagger to the shoulder and a couple broken ribs, I moved towards Mr. Aizawa's direction.
I summoned a light wall on his right, blocking a sneaky ice shard aimed at Mr. Aizawa's chest.
"Rey, what are you doing here?" Mr. Aizawa shouted.
"I'm not going to let you fight alone. Don't worry, I can take care of myself!" I shouted back.
I ducked, avoiding a punch aimed at my head. Snaking behind the villain, I knocked out his legs under him and chained him to the floor.
"Kurogiri, it's your turn now." The man spoke. The mass of darkness nodded, and his tendrils started to spread across the floor.
"Watch out! Get away from him!" Thirteen warned the students.
I turned around, seeing my classmates disappear after coming into contact with the tendrils. I raced for Deku and Uraraka, but I was too late. Before I could reach them, they had already disappeared.
"Now, where do you think you're going? Off you go too." The black mist said.
I looked down at my feet, and I found myself falling.
