33. Plans for the Future

[ Earth Time ]

[ 8:00AM, Jan, 2nd 2026 ]

A man in his late 40s was sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper while his wife's in the kitchen preparing breakfast for them, the house was small but it was enough for three members.

There were small kitchen, small living room and the dining table in there, and two bedrooms, one for the parents and the other for their child.

"Sweetheart?"

"Hmm?"

"I think- I think we're forgetting something... Our child... What was her name?" She came out of the kitchen after that question struck her mind making her husband halted and looked up at her after he took off his glasses, "didn't... She die?" He asked her in shock.

The two looked at each other for moments before their eyes changed and something else seemed to possess them, "oh no, she went out wi- wi- wi- withhhhhhh her frie- friennnnnnndsssssss eeeeearly today" the mother said.

"Ye- Ye- Yeyyeeyeyeyeyeyeaaaaaah shhhhhhhe diiiiiii- Diiiii- Diiii-d" the father replied before they got back normal and went back to what they were doing as if they didn't miss their daughter or even talked in a weird way few seconds ago.

In another dimension, away from planet Earth and farther from the milky way, Warrior 01 was busy recovering Audrey after they came out of the dead body.

When Audrey came out as a ghost, she started to cry rivers from the sight of her own body that the place started to get filled from her tears and her growing hair, 'I'm really sorry, sobs, whenever I cry my hair gets longer, hic-'

"It's ok, what matters now is that you're fine and well"

[ And you stopped crying ]

"Exactly" agreed Seth with him.

"Here" Warrior 01 gave Truth Seeker to her and watched as the blade glowed between her hands and her pure white eyes turn into a whole blue like the blade's color.

'Why?'

"It'll be more useful for you" she shrugged, "now, let's stop wasting time and start planning"

[ Planning what? ]

"Plans for the future~" she chirped before she walked back to the mountain Audrey was living in, the three shrugged before they followed her up using Seth's teleport sand and watched her as she entered the cave and walked all the way to the end of the tunnel.

"What are you doing?!" Audrey asked her as Warrior 01 started collecting the treasures in the cave.

"System 0 I know you can hear me so come here now" A glitch appeared in front of everyone before it turned into a portal coming out of it System 0 in human form, "what?" He asked her.

She pointed for him to follow her to a corner to talk about the matter quietly, the three watched as System 0 gives her a shocked face with sweat forming on his head and hands, he started to rub his palms together and get rid of the sweat on them but they keep increasing the more Warrior 01 talked.

System 0 wobbled and almost fell but Warrior 01 held him on time and wiped his sweat before she kept going with her talk.

"They look like married couples" Seth folded his arms and commented, Level up System and Audrey folded their arms too and nodded their heads in agreement. What the two missed was a quarrel and they'll officially be called married couple.

The two came back after a very long speech, Warrior 01 came out of it unharmed while System 0 was rubbing his forehead and with the other hand he snapped his fingers and opened two gates, it came from them two guards, the same as the one who held Warrior 01 back before.

The two started collecting the gold and treasures in the cave and take them somewhere only Warrior 01 and System 0 know, "are you sure you wanna do that? I'm warning you, it won't be easy"

"I'm willing to take the risk" she smirked making the system scoff, "of course. You put your life on line many times now so it shouldn't be surprising you'd do that too" System 0 excused himself and left them alone with the two guards until they finished collecting the stuff in there and left.

"Now what, master?" Audrey asked bending on one knee as a soldier waiting for her queen to give her next orders, Seth and Level up System watched what Audrey did and looked at each other before the two bent on one knee beside the dragon.

"First, please don't do this, it feels weird. Second, we'll keep going in our journey to max level" she smirked before her left eye turned dark like a blackhole and the black mana form on her face's left side, but this time, an eye glowed in one of the mana's sides.
