Bargain.

Since it was Valentine's day, Yo-han decided to ask the workers to knock off early even though there's a load of work to do. He only wanted to give them time to spend with their families and loved ones.

It surprised everyone that he asked them to knock off early since they knew how much work that still needed their attentions but since it is the boss who declared it, the staffs knocked off very early while Yo-han remained in his office working tirelessly.

*Knock knock* a knock sounded on Yo-Han's door and the fellow pushed the door open after Yo-han gave him permission.

"Yo-han it's late you should stop working now and get some rest." Na-Gil's hoarse voice sounded sleepy and lazy while his appearance looked haggard making it obvious how exhausted he is. He scanned the room for a short while before he slumped unto one of the couches in the office.

"Isn't it too much work for you alone?, You could have asked Ms Bae and the rest to stay behind instead of bearing all the work alone. As for why you sent them home, I don't get the reason." Na-Gil spoke again.

"I guess..."Yo-han raised his head from his work and glanced over at Na-Gil's direction. "It's good if they enjoy love when they still have it. I don't want any more heartbreaks."

Na-Gil caught a tiny bit of regret in Yo-Han's voice. 'Sounds like it's game over. Could it be that Dan-bi left him for good?. Sounds like that.' He watched as Yo-han returned his focus to his work. "Hey Yo-han do you think working like this will take it off your mind?, Is that why you are working tirelessly?, Hmph, You're just going to injure yourself with all of this. Get over yourself and think straight."

"I am thinking straight, you should know that I am working because I need to work." He took another glance at Na-Gil's appearance and declared. " Get your looks together we are leaving for the Prime Minister's villa in five minutes." Yo-han said and continued his work, not taking his eye off it for a second.

When Na-Gil heard what Yo-han said his ears perked up and his heart skipped a beat. The thought of Yo-han going to visit the weak hearted Yeo-Na at this time of the night consumed him whole. Come to think of it, just Yo-Han's presence in her house on the night of Valentine's day alone can make her fall on her back and let him have his way with her. That was the same thing Yo-han did the other time right?. 'But why should Yo-han bring me along to fornicate. It's non of my business.'

Na-Gil's expression looked confused as he tried to investigate Yo-Han's intentions. At least this is the woman he likes that we are talking about.

"Prime Minister's villa?, What?, Are you going to see Yeo-Na so late at night?, Are you seriously thinking about her? I thought the other day was a one night stand, isn't it?, I mean you don't like her why are you going to her.?..." Na-Gil rambled on and on while Yo-han stared unblinkingly, trying to decipher Na-Gil's thought.

"Who said we are going to see Yeo-Na and please never mention her name beside me again. I know you like her that's why I won't punish her for what she did. I am going to meet Prime Minister Guk not Yeo-Na. I have a bargain to make with the old man." Yo-han finally interrupted Na-Gil. Shut down his desktop computer, stood up, picked his jacket and strode out of the room.

"Prime Minister?...,Bargain?, Oh!" Na-Gil replied and hastened after Yo-Han. 'Thankfully, he isn't thinking of some perverted thoughts about Yeo-Na. But what did she do to make him never want to hear her name? Did she not satisfy him enough the other time, could that be her offense? So immature.'

As if Yo-han knew his mind, Yo-han stopped and turned around to face Na-Gil who was approaching. "One night stand?, You thought the last time was a one night stand?, No, no, There was no such thing. Nothing happened that night, trust me it's just a rumour."

"So you mean you didn't stay at the Prime Minister's villa overnight?, And you leaving the place early the next morning was a lie or perhaps, you had an all night meeting with the Prime Minister in his study so there was no way you could have been with Yeo-Na?" Na-Gil asked as if he was interrogating a criminal.

"Hmm, seems like you don't trust me enough, I didn't even know you had an interest in Yeo-Na until the next morning but truthfully I wouldn't allow myself to be used by her even in my drunken state, don't you think?. It's okay if you don't believe me, I hope you do in about thirty minutes." Yo-han said and continued walking to his private elevator.

Na-Gil sighed heavily. Yo-Han's excuse is really confusing. It's logical that no man will allow himself to be used by a woman. He has no feelings for her and she lured him to the villa pretending to be the prime minister after getting the bartender at the pub to exchange Yo-Han's drink with something stronger and aphrodisiac. The heartbroken fellow battled with just two glass of strong drink for almost an hour. Lost in thought and helpless. In such a state, it wasn't Yo-Han's fault even if something happened afterwards, and it's enough to make Yo-han hate Yeo-Na for the rest of his life. But the fact that Yo-han denied that anything happened is unbelievable. How can a drunk man under the influence of aphrodisiac reject advances from a beautiful woman. It's unbelievable. But Yo-han kept denying it, saying that nothing happened.

Na-Gil shook away the thoughts and followed after Yo-han and they left for the Prime Minister's villa.

When they arrived the Prime Minister sent escorts to bring them in to his study. Since Yo-han had called earlier to inform the Prime Minister of his visit, the old man was already waiting in the study, pacing up and down.

The moment the door flung open, the old man walked forward to welcome Yo-han, but he was more composed than he was few second earlier.

"Yo-han, my son, I was worried you wouldn't give me anymore face after walking out on me the other day. I knew you were angry and Yeo-Na is at fault but please try to forgive her. She has locked herself up in her room since that day probably crying out of regret. I know you are a good man and this old man just wants you to be more lenient towards her, she is just a kid try to understand. Please Yo-han. Hmm?" The old man pleaded seriously. Right now, no one would know that he is the Prime Minister of a nation with how he humbled himself to beg.

'Forgive?, Is that the word of the day, what's with everyone asking me to forgive?I only forgive those who forgiveness is due.' Yo-han thought but his thoughts were hidden under his face which is void of a smile.

On a usual day, just seeing the old man's sorry expression will crumble Yo-Han's defenses and he would give the old man face and continue to tolerate Yeo-Na but today, he wasn't moved one bit. He only bowed in respect to the man and gave an insincere smile. "That's exactly why I am here. I came to make a bargain. It's profitable to both of us, oh as you know, I am a businessman." He said and led himself to a seat.

The old man also strode to the seat opposite Yo-Han's. His expression still pitiful. It was clear and evident that he loves his daughter and he would do anything to pamper her. He probably missed his wife so much that he transfered all the love to his daughter.

Yo-han did not dilly-dally and went straight to the point. "Min Corporation is in a tight situation, a very tight situation where we have no time for delay. A product of Min Corporation must be released in six weeks and I have met with a lot of government officials in charge of the processes involved but it seems like someone is paying them to waste my time because I haven't seen any effect of the several meetings that I personally held with them. It's obvious that what I want is your influence. It seems like I am using you but your daughter tried to do the same to me, I can only forgive her and return to how we used to be if I am allowed to make use of this chance. What do you think?"

The old man sighed. "Yo-han, I know you are annoyed but nothing happened that night, why are you like this? You have enough influence to get what you want why are you doing this?." Prime Minister Guk asked solemnly.

"That's true I can get what I want but I don't like bribery, it only stains ones reputation, but contrary to my opinion, I think my biggest rivals in the market loves bribery, if not they won't be able to delay my progress... But you, you can get the several Ministers in charge of those Ministries and get them to do their job well. I can provide proof of bribery on most of them to make things easier for you." Yo-Han paused for a while and continued after scrutinizing the man's expression. He wasn't angry yet.

"As for why I am doing this, even though nothing happened that night, drugging me is enough proof of her maliciousness and it's unforgivable. I hope you understand that I would feel aggrieved every time I think about that night if she had succeeded. Thanks to my wits that were still sober even though I was drunk, no, drugged. I am not asking for much, consider it as you giving me a helping hand."

Prime Minister Guk remained silent for a while, he was a little bit surprised about Yo-Han's change in attitude. First of all, Yo-han has never asked him for help, secondly, the lad never spoke to him as if speaking with a business partner. It was evident that Yo-Han is doing this on purpose, Yeo-Na must have really pissed him off this time. If he wanted the old Yo-han back, he needed to help Min Corporation even though his actions will be considered as misuse of power. At least that way, Yeo-Na will get out of her room and smile once more.

All for his daughter, he sighed again and cleared his throat. "Yo-han, if that's what you want there is no problem but please does that mean you will forget that incident and continue being Yeo-Na's friend?"

"Hmmn, If Prime Minister can do me this favour, I will go and get Yeo-Na out at this instance. I won't have any reason to hold grudges against her anymore." Yo-Han's words brought a smile on Minister Guk's face, he immediately nodded in agreement to the handsome fella that refused to be his son-in-law.
