'We are ready to scan,sir' 'Ready to scan? Ok, starting the scan in 3,2,1,' The machine started to vibrate. Inside it,a tall man,around mid-20s,was like asleep on a stretcher,so that he was completely visible in front of the eyes of the scientists. After around 10 mins,the machine stopped vibrating.

'What's the report?'

The assistant scientist,Gordon Maziel,had a shocked look on his face. He was a radiologist,and one of the most brilliant scientists of the 'Culverwell Science and Research Lab'. He looked from the screen in front of him to the man.

'You need to see this doctor.'

Dr. Samuel Paine was a man in his mid-35s,and was the head of the Lab. He came in front the screen,followed by his fellow scientists.

'Oh my god!' he gasped. He to had a look at the asleep man.

'Look at his report.'said Maziel, surprised. 'His muscles have strengthened somehow,his cells are weird,his body has grown too. Before going there,he was 5 feet 7' and now he is 6.'

More gasps were heard.

'His cells are mutated. He is 25 just now,but his leucocytes will remain 25 for 10 years.' Maziel said, looking at the report with no expression at all.

'What do we do with him Doc?' asks Maziel.

'"What do we do with him?" How can you ask that question Maziel?'

'I mean,he is somehow stronger than before. How can that happen?'

Dr. Paine groaned. 'Are you seriously relating him to Marvel or DC Maziel?'

'No,I'm asking what to do with him and how can this happen.'

'We study him of course. Make it sure we get all the information we want. And most importantly,' he breathed loudly,'we find out about that freaking pit.'His short black hair were sweaty now. There was a long silence. The group of scientists were staring at the asleep man without blinking.

'What when he wakes up?'

'We'll conduct what tests we are capable of. Measure his 1RM and stuff. Hell,we are studying comical characters now.' He sweared under his breath.

'Sir shall we wake him?'

'You can try.'

Some of the scientists took the man out of the stretcher. They bend the top legs so that both hip and knee were at a right angles,gently titled the man's head back to keep the airway open. Many moments later,the man let out a groan and in few seconds,he got up shocked and confused,and punched the floor in the process,and shouted,'Where am I? What happened!? Wha- Doctor? Doctor Paine?!' He looked at the short man,both sweating.

'What happened? I was there in that pit and I felt cold and I saw something weird and,next second I fainted!'

'You will know everything,Enischy,calm down.'

Dr. Paine shot a look at the place where Enischy had punched. It was in a bad state. 'Shit,I don't believe it.'
