The Armoury

Building up some more ice Xilo waited for the fire to do down while making sure Tearia was alright. Checking for any visible burn marks on her body he felt the heat dying down as the fire started to fade away. "Looks like it's all out of fuel." Letting it decrease a little more, Xilo waited for some of the heat to go away before he got rid of ice as other things entered his vision again. Turning toward the knight he watched as it tried to drag itself closer to them no longer able to stand anymore.

"It looks like we beat it."

"Should probably finish it off now."

Untangling herself from Xilo's arms she cracked the ice surrounding her as she walked up to it and smashed it with her foot. Stomping it a couple times she made sure it wouldn't be able to do anything more with it finally defeated. "That gave us more trouble then I thought it would." Swiping some of the sweat of her face and chest she pulled back her hair to tighten it again letting Xilo go to the first room. Hearing him open the door to the room on the left she decided to head to the right side.

"I'll take this side and you take that side then?"

"Sounds good to me, let me know what you find afterwards."

Entering a room he saw bookshelves lined with books and a few tables that were scattered about the room. "A Library of sorts it seems." Searching the titles he looked for anything he could read but everything was in a language he didn't understand. Which was quite a shame since he would have loved to read some of them to see what was in them at some time. "Maybe I'll take a couple for another time." Who knows maybe he could find someone that could read them one day and get some use out of them.

"Now for the last thing."

Noticing a faint light in the corner he looked at one of the tables he swept through in the back. "A red crystal." Sitting on top of the table was a small crystal the size of his fist that faintly lit up the room almost like a little night light people used for reading in the dark. If he hadn't already seen one of these crystals before he might have mistaken it for something else but he knew it was more valuable then it looked.

"An Astral Crystal."

Picking it up he noticed the book on the table beside it that had a title he could understand that was covered in dust. "Another one of these books." Bringing out the book he was carrying that had combined with Tearia's he matched them up before taking it as well. "I'll combine this later." He didn't know how many more he needed to find to finish it but one more was always a good thing. If he completed it, who knows what he might find inside.

"Alright that seems like that's all there is to this room. I'd better go check on Tearia now and see what she's up to."

Walking out the door of the little library he peeked around a little to see if anyone else was coming before he went to the right side room that Tearia entered. "Wonder what's in here." Poking his head inside Xil was greeted by what looked like hundreds of different weapons that lined the walls from swords, axes, lances, bows, almost any weapon he could think of there. However what caught his attention the most was Tearia's butt sticking up in the air as she crawled around on the ground trying to find something.

*Shash*

"Need any help?"

"No I'm fin-Xilo!?"

Spinning around after being scared Tearia looked up to see Xilo staring at her as confusion crossed his face. Feeling her cheeks go red she felt like an idiot. "I just had to drop it didn't I." She had picked up one of the rings that was left in this room to try it on but stumbled over one of the swords that littered the floor and ended up dropping it. She had been trying to find it this whole time since it was similar to her Necklace a little bit however she couldn't find it anymore. "I should have just shoved everything in my necklace. Maybe I would have found it already." She had been looking for a couple minutes already and nothing. All she did was get her pants dirty as dust stuck to them.

"You okay?"

"Haaa...yeah I'm fine I was just looking for something. Mind helping me out a bit?"

Walking over he got on the ground with her as he asked her about this place.

"So this place is?"

"Something like an armoury of sorts however I found something that you could maybe use here especially but I lost it. It's a small purple ring. If you find it let me know."

With that the two of them fell into silence as they looked across the ground moving swords and other things out of the way together. Feeling a little shy suddenly Tearia tried to look in other areas then Xilo until eventually she heard his icy voice enter her ears a few minutes later.

"I think I found it, this it?"

Showing Tearia the ring he had found he waited for her confirmation as he wondered what was so important about it. It had to be something of importance or he doubted Tearia would bring it up but there was always a chance he was wrong or that this wasn't even the right ring.

"Oh you found it, nice. Pass it over for a second."

"Sure."

Throwing it to her, he watched her catch it and look over it like she was studying it for something. "Hmm, She's kind of cute like this." that thought crossed his mind for a second before he waved it off. Now wasn't the time for such things especially when he saw her frowning.

"Well then..."
