King Of Elements

The world felt like it had slowed down as they all heard those words rain down on them. Xilo and Marie had pierced his chest straight through without much resistance however he was still alive and even able to speak. Following the King's voice upwards he looked as he saw him holding Tearia's Blade in his hand as the fire was absorbed before disappearing. Looking into his eyes he watched as they changed to a blank white different from their usual constant swapping as he looked directly back at him before raising his hand to his sword.

"I think you've had enough fun with my defective toys."

Grabbing Icebreaker and Ravenous the King was tired of seeing these weapons. They reminded him of his wife and old friend whenever they were used and being attacked by them even with different users didn't sit well with him. "I made these for them to use alongside me, not against me." Closing his eyes he remembered the days he spent creating a bunch of these weapons. He had hoped they would be of use to his people if he had ever died but it seems they had received little use.

Ripping them out of their Grasps he let out a quiet sigh as he crushed them before they disappeared in his hands. He was no longer capable of destroying them but he could hide them away for all eternity if he wanted to. No one in this room could stop that from happening no matter how much they struggled. "Cela, Relt. You both fought well with me." The longer he was awake the more fragments of memories came back to him and the more stable he became.

"Huh?"

"So easily?"

Hearing their surprised whispers as they panicked he smiled as the wind arrow disappeared as well while a giant white light flashed the entire room. Feeling his soul begin to shake he watched them all quickly back off as a surge power was released from his body before condensing back and covering his body in shining armour made of Astral Energy. In a second it hardened into pure Light Energy as his sword changed along with it into a long spear that he used to use. This was his Astral Ability that was granted to him from his younger days that slowly formed over time from nothing.

This set of armour and weapons had carried him all the way to the top and earned him the respect and love of others until eventually he was crowned King. Standing over two hundred centimeters tall in this armour of Light he straightened his back. "For the ones who cared. I will not die here." His armour was mostly white with different sets of spikes that came out around his boots, knees, hands, elbows and shoulders. Each body part he had carried a different line of colour signifying the original three elements he was born with. His legs carried two purple stripes that ran down it on both sides while his arms carried three fire red stripes that twirled around his arm in a constant circle. Lastly his chest plate had a glowing Insignia in the shape of a spear with two wings that spread out from near it's hilt that mimic'd his current weapon.

"Been a long time since I had brought this out. Heh I remember that damn giant still crushing it like it was paper yet here I am still...Not dead even though I should be. That memory has haunted me for a long time, to the point where I wonder how this world is even alive today. Did you know I was once considered the Strongest in the world or close to it. Yet even me who was looked up to and called the King Of Elements died in less then a couple days to that thing."

Hearing the King's little speech Zilan scratched his head in confusion. "What the hell is he talking about. Is he just trying to confuse us?" Kings were born and lived in Astral Zones all their lives and while they all had intelligence and could speak they took on many different forms but that didn't mean they actually lived like others. They were bound to this area forever unable to escape no matter how much they tried and no King had ever talked like this before. So he could only think he was making up things as he went or he was truly broken after that last hit and just desperate.

"What the hell are you even talking about."

"Hmmm? Ahhh right, none of you should know about that stuff."

Saying that he looked directly at Xilo as his helmet that covered almost his entire face except his eyes stared directly at him.

"Just think of it as the ramblings of a crazy person. Right, boy?"

Unable to see any of the King's emotion behind his helmet he noticed the similarities it had to the Knights he had fought earlier as his brain tried to digest those words. "To everyone else these Astral Zones are just random anomalies with no other meaning but that isn't true. They were created by us and forced into the world to fight against the Nepl however where did the others come from then?" That answer was pretty simple to Xilo. They were graves that had been corrupted by the original Zones that made new ones and spawned them around the world spreading like an infection. He just didn't know the other specifics about it.

"Yeah, just a crazy person..."

"I told you this was my world so let me have this one last wish and show you all why that's the case."

Adjusting his stance he spread out his body as he aimed his spear and adjusted his helmet as the three horns above it began to glow as a separate element surrounded each one.

"Maybe this will truly be my last battle once and for all, that would be nice."

A little late today, sorry :c

Enjoy.
