Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Or will people be there to catch him if he does once again?

Cruel Choices

"Since you think you can stand before me with such confidence let's see how you handle this then. This simple little flame before your eyes could easily destroy your life in seconds but I wonder how much agony I can make you feel before you give up this little act."

Not really understanding what she had gotten herself into, Tearia stared at the black flame floating towards her as she felt zero heat from it. Her body had moved on without her knowledge leaving her mind trying to catch up and now she was stuck here. There was nothing to do now though as she felt the flame make contact with her chest. In an instant she felt her mind shut off completely due to the pain before being woken up again as it settled down. Opening her eyes she was met with a vicious grin that pissed her off to no end.

"Bitch."

"Oh, didn't enjoy your little taste then? I'll let you have more then. Come on scream for me, as Xilo watches you wiggle in agony. Who knows maybe if you beg me for to stop and leave my sight I might let you live."

"That's all you got then??

"Nope."

Looking between Xilo and whatever her name was, Althea looked at the last girl that had her scent all over his body as she struggled to do something. "Ahh a Space user and she's trying to get them all to safety even like that. Some surprisingly tough women." Most people who faced her and saw her strength would just obey in a heartbeat but there were a rare few who preferred dying. This is one of the first times though she had seen people so weak going against her though and not for themselves either. "Well let's see how long this will last." Eyeing Xilo she saw that look of defiance that roared at her to listen to him but he wasn't the one in charge here.

So she was going to do her best to break that spirit and what better way to do it than getting to enjoy herself while his friends abandon him. She could have simply taken him without going through all the trouble but she had noticed that look before. "It always ends with them never truly listening." For other times that might have been fine but with Xilo it was completely different. She needed his heart and soul to be completely hers or things wouldn't go as planned. "Making connections between two people isn't so simple." Most importantly though she found herself disliking those two beyond just being trash to her.

Their scents were all over Xilo's body and that pissed her off so along with having a little fun with it she wanted to release some of that anger. "Mine." With that she turned up the heat of her flame again as she heard a small scream escape the purple haired girl's lips before blocking the use of Astral energy around the second girl. Brushing a hand through her hair she relaxed her body as she stared at the space user that knew exactly what had happened.

"Think I'd really let something so simple slip out of my senses? You may have something rare but you're far from the only one in the world to have such a power. Probably the weakest from what I've seen, Your Space energy seems to have a lot of surprising defects compared to other ones I've encountered. I wonder if that's just you or is every Space user like that? Well no matter, I offer you the same fate as your little friend here. Leave on your own initiative or die painfully I don't really care."

Having her whole body seen through in an instant Felli felt sick at the thought of such power but she understood better then Tearia and Xilo how strong this woman was. "She might be even stronger then my Grandfather...Why is she here and what does she want from Xilo?" She knew the reason she was here seemed to be a fixation on Xilo from what she had said and to her that was perfectly fine. Xilo and her weren't really friends but Tearia was another story. "Fuck, Tearia why did you have to be tough this one time?" Well she was slightly fine with leaving Xilo behind she wasn't alright with leaving Tearia behind in the slightest. "Besides I've still got questions for him." So leaving him still left a bad taste in her mouth at the end of the day.

"You really are full of yourself, you know that?"

"So I've been told but I have the power to be like that. What do you have?"

"....."

"That's right. In front of me you have nothing. Now make your choice."

Seeing Xilo trying to speak she shut his mouth tight, disabling him from speaking and forced him to watch as another black fireball flew towards the black haired girl. Soon two stifled screams from two women that were trying their best to endure the pain entered Xilo's ears as their bodies melted from the inside out as slowly as possible. Unable to do anything but watch as Tearia and Felli screamed in pain that same sense of defeat rose within him as the burning increased even more in his pocket almost like it was replicating the heat that black flame gave off. "What do I even do here?" Staring at the girl who called herself Althea a sense of hate started to budd within him. However fear was the main thing disrupting him currently. He had seen a similar scene play out once with Tearia and he was afraid it was going to happen again along with Felli this time.

"Please..."

There wasn't even Xelfia to help him out this time around if his worst nightmare came true.

He would once again be alone if his life and it would be all his fault.

"Do something..."

Enjoy.
