That being said though just because he ended up ripping her arm off it didn't mean the fight was over yet. She may be a lot weaker now but that was also the same for him. He had Cracked ribs and used up a lot of Astral Energy to even rip her arm off combined with all the hits he had taken before. Making him extremely tired. While The Nature Spirit lost an arm and was pushed out of her control zone. They were both teetering on the edge of collapse and defeat. If either of them made a mistake it was probably over.

"At the very least this fight became so much easier than before."

Instead of getting stuck in a bad mindset he pushed himself to think positively while catching his breath from his last attack. The next course of action for him though was just a straightforward fight thankfully. Gathering his energy in his fist only this time he began preparing to attack. While he was doing that the Nature Spirit finally calmed down after the events that happened and started to also prepare to attack him head on.

They might have both been at the same rank but by no means was he stronger. He just happened to catch her off guard and take advantage of her inexperience letting him lead in the fight. But she knew she was still stronger than him or based on her level and how much energy she had left at the moment.

While he might of been weaker his body helped thankfully make up for the difference to some extent thankfully. The Nature Spirit didn't know that of course though and even he didn't understand it to much himself either. He just knew it helped his attack and defense to some extent.

This time around when he started charging forward he was a lot slower than the previous couple of times. Which was to be expected but so was the nature spirit. She set up her guard, ready to receive him because based on her previous exchange she knew he was weaker in the blocking department. So for her she'd rather let him charge at her and waste his energy more then needed then be stupid and do the same.

After 10 or so seconds this time around he was finally in front of her and brought his fist down on her once again but this time he aimed right for her one handed block. If he aimed for that she couldn't attack him with her other hand any long because she no longer had that. Which is also a huge reason why he even went for the strategy in the first place. It got rid of her advantage and got rid of his disadvantage.

His fist collided onto her while he brought his other fist down on her leftover shoulder as well. Though since he went for that he ended up getting kicked as well in return instead.

"Geh."

Getting kicked in the leg slightly destabilized him and threw his shoulder punch off track slightly but it still managed to land a hit just not at his full power. Pulling back slightly he got ready for another attack but this time didn't use Astral Energy with them. While his power may be reduced he needed to stall for time for a little bit. His plan was to make it seem like he was weaker then he really was.

Thankfully it worked when she saw him not using Astral Energy anymore, causing her to gain some confidence in defending and even slightly letting her guard down because of it. This time around she also didn't bother blocking his attacks and aimed to hit him twice instead while receiving his weaker blows.

"Keeee."

her attacks landing successively on his stomach and face but she also ended up getting hit in the stomach twice.

"Phew."

For minutes on end they kept repeatedly punching each other back and forth trying to knock each other out and win the fight. Over and over until eventually something finally changed. In the last set of punches he threw out he mustered all the Astral Energy in his body he could and instead of adding it to his attacks like before. He Propelled it around his body and smashed it into the Nature spirits body sending her backwards.

"Yes!"

Watching her get caught off guard and stumble backwards and fall he quickly pounced on top of her. Now he could finally deal the finishing blow he had been waiting for this whole time.

"It's Over."

She struggled under him while twisting and turning to struggle out of his grasp but he continuously pinned her down not allowing her to move in the slightest. But since he was pinning her down with his arms and legs he couldn't exactly deal the finishing blow this way but it didn't matter to him because he wasn't planning on doing it like that in the first place this time around.

Opening his mouth slightly he revealed the fangs hidden in his mouth and actually started to coat them with Astral Energy. What he planned to do was just like what he did with the Astral Wolf except this time combine it with his Astral Power to make it stronger and more effective against the Nature Spirit and also even potentially save him against the effects of his Devourer Ability. Though he wasn't too positive if it would work or not seeing as he'd never tested it before. So in reality he was taking a huge gamble that may or may not pay off.

Bringing his face down he tore into the Nature spirits neck as it shrieked its final noises before death.

"KEEEEEEEEEEeeeee..."

He had beaten the king of the forest. collapsing on top of the corpse he felt his whole body dying of exhaustion combined with all the injuries he had suffered through the fight. Thankfully though he didn't feel the crazed hunger he had felt before so it looks like his theory had worked.

Now that he had beaten the king he could finally start to go out and explore the world and learn more things.

"Finally, I did it."

The thought of that brought a smile to his face as he basked in his well earned victory.

Thinking that he slowly relaxed his tension, injury filled body and let his guard down. There was nothing left in the forest that could technically beat him at full power but at the moment he wasn't in top form but for him it didn't matter to much seeing as how most normal Astral Beasts in the Myriad Forest knew this was the kings territory and weren't dumb enough to come near it. But that was truly naive thinking.

The next moment he noticed something huge rushed at him from behind his vision and slammed into him throwing him against a cave wall and nearly knocking him unconscious right there and then.

"What.....was t-that.."
