Preparation to shoot

The old man nodded.

"Ye—"

"Hkhk!"

His hand slammed into his face so hard that slobber spilled out of his mouth.

He looked at me with an intense glare.

I looked at him with fear. Either he responds like a madman when giving something away. Or he just resisted my charm.

That has never happened before. How could he be capable of doing that?

A confused frown graced the old man's face.

"An aura without any magic. This is perplexing."

The old man extended his hand to shake.

"Hello. My name is Theo. What's your name."

I looked at his hand silently for a momment.

~has my life always been this strange.~

It wasn't life or death. But as I extended my hand to shake my life flashed before my eyes.

~Yes. I think it has.~

Theo looked at me with further confusion.

"A perfect seal on your memories and no magic power. Are you some kind of homminclus? Maybe one of jimmy's constructs?"

I shook my head.

"No. I'm a pretty normal human."

Theo darted backwards.

"Why the fuck are you able to speak! You shouldn't even be able to think right now!"

He now looked at me with fear.

I just looked at him with confusion.

"Why shouldn't I be able to speak. It's not like my vocal cords have been slit. Old man I think your going crazy."

Theo let out a deep breath.

And then he placed a steel grey stone in my hands. But kept his hands in contact with it.

"I'll give you this stone in exchange for a favour that can be called in at any time." Said Theo

He was an old man. He didn't have much time left he would probably die before he could even call in that favour.

"Deal."

I took the steel grey stone out of his hands.

Everything flashed blue for a second.

But other than that nothing changed.

I turned around and left the shop.

It was time to experiment.

There was a silver circle drawn on one side of the stone.

Theo hadn't told me how to use it so I did the most logical thing.

I poked it.

Specifically I poked within the confines of the silver circle.

And a voice spoke.

"Activated."

It spoke with a British accent and seemed to emenate from the rock.

"Please choose the activation phrase."

"How do I do that?"

"Your chosen activation phrase is how do I do that? Yes or no?" Responded the ai.

Okay so it was voice activated.

"No." I told it.

"Please choose the activation phrase."

I was making a gun so the phrase is simple.

"Bang"

Then you're just making the sound that would otherwise be made.

It made perfect sense.

"Your chosen activation phrase is bang. Yes or no."

"Yes."

I picked up the rock. Now I just had to activate it.

I placed a pebble in the silver circle. I assumed it was where you put the object because there wasn't much else on the rock.

"Bang."

"Please chose direction." Said the rock

So I did

"In the opposite direction that the side of the rock it is on is facing."

"Processing.

.

..

….

...

Confirmed."

"Bang."

The rock twitched slightly.

It's speed was too low.

After a few more minutes of poking and prodding I found out that the silver circle around the rock would light up blue if you touched it.

If you touched it in a new place then the blue in the previous place would disappear.

If you slide your finger around the silver circle though the all that you touched would light up blue.

I slid my finger in a full circle around the silver circle and put a pebble in the middle.

"Bang." The pebble exploded into little chunks.

That must have been Mach three.

So then I could assume that turning the silver circle blue is setting it's speed.

So after a few hours of mindless tapping. My experiment was complete.

A muscular bearded man looked at me with confusion.

"So you want me to make a metal pipe with a Handle that's and a Funnel so you can put a rock inside with another pipe at the top which you will fill with metal pellets."

I nodded.

"And you want me to make the pellets too?"

Again I nodded.

"Could you have it done by sun down?" I said whilst giving him my classic charming smile.

His brows furrowed and his face scrunched up.

But despite this he gave me a thumbs up.

"I'll do it if you can pay!"

I smiled.

"I'll give you enough money to buy a small town in a month if you want me too."

He nodded

"Okay!"

I handed him my rock, turned around and walked away.

After asking around for a bit I found out where the largest band of Mercenarys was in the capital.

That's right, I was in the capital now. My skill in flying came in handy. I tied a rock to a rope and used it to launch myself to the capital.

It took five or six launches to get there but I made it fine.

Once I find the mercenary's everything would be compleate.

After dealing with all those asassination attempts I practically had a degree in first degree murder.

And now it was time to use it.
