Civilization once more

Okay... One problem. We were travelling but.

I had no idea where we were going!

We had been running on water for about two hours now and we hadn't gotten any closer to finding even a flickering facsimile of civilization.

Don't get me wrong we've found islands. But none of them had any people on them. They were completely deserted.

I wasn't sure how close we were to our home base and if we would even ever be able to get there was already starting to look uncertain.

It was the dead of night when We had begun to reach it.

We saw a flickering flame of torch light on the horizon. It shined off what I assumed to be castle walls.

I pointed in the direction of the walls.

"GO THAT WAY!" I yelled.

The tribesmen nodded to their messiah and began to sprint in the direction of the city walls

Water was blown up in a great cloud behind them as they ran.

*DING! DING! DING!*

Bells began to ring.

"CAPTAIN THERE'S A GROUP OF PEOPLE RUNNING ON WATER TOWARDS US!" Yelled a guard.

My tribesmen jumped from the water onto the beach.

"TO THE CITY!" I yelled a grin on my face.

They followed my command and began to sprint at sonic speed towards the high city walls.

A man jumped from the castle walls and onto the ground. He wore plate armour that covered everything but his face and had a sword in his hand.

"HALT!" He yelled

They did not listen to his command and continued to sprint forwards.

In response the man slashed at the giant chief in the back.

The chief was many feet away so all reason stated that the sword should not hit him. But a blue light arched from the blade and crashed against a blue shield around the chief.

"MESSIAH SAYS FORWARD DOING IS THE DOING THAT MUST BE DONE! SO WE DO FORWARD!" Yelled the chief in the most comprehensible way imaginable.

The guards face paled as he watched the chief seemingly shrug of his blow.

He sighed.

"I don't get paid enough for this. BOB!"

"YES!"

"LOWER THE DRAW BRIDGE!"

The draw bridge to the city began to slowly lower.

I watched with bated breath.

After so so long I was finally back. I would be back in the magnificent civilization. The amorous society that I constantly crave.

*Tak!*

The draw bridge was fully lowered.

"MEN! FORWARDS!" I yelled victoriously.

The tribesmen began to march.

We flooded the streets.

The people who were still awake at these midnight hours watched with confusion as a group of half naked men and women walked into the city.

"LET'S GO TO THE NEAREST INN AND FUEL UP!" I yelled

The tribesmen walked towards the nearest inn.

It's door was locked but one of the tribesmen man's an executive decision and just kicked the door down.

We snatched as much food and booze as we could find. And everyone took heaping plates.

I was fed by hand by my tribesmen as my hands no longer functioned after being nailed to the cross.

I was ultra crippled now.

Then we slept.

A man with a portly form and a large beard sat on a throne. He had a scowl on his face as a man wearing a small black cap and black robes bowed before him.

"So your telling me that some random group of bandits overpowered the guard captain and stole from one of the government sanctioned inns?" He said

The man nodded awkwardly.

"Yes king Rob. Their asleep in the streets right now. They don't seem to have any fear of us."

King Rob's scowl morthed into a glare of irate fury.

"AND WHY DIDN'T ANYONE DO ANYTHING TO GET THEM TO LEAVE!" He screamed

"Becaues King Rob, their too strong. We wouldn't even stand a chance against them."

King Rob put his head into his hands and screamed.

"AHHHHHHH!"

"Just see if we can bribe them to leave us alone." Said King Rob dejectedly.

THe man nodded.

"OKAY!"

I awoke in the morning to fresh air and the smell of bacon.

One of the tribesmen had stolen. Ahem, I mean borrowed. He had borrowed some bacon from a nearby house and had started a fire with some furniture in order to cook it.

It had been years since I had bacon.

"You there. Bring me some bacon." I said to a random tribesmen.

"YES SIR I WILL BRING BACON FOR BACON BRINGING THE BACON WITH BE BRUNG!" He yelled in a military manner.

I totally understood what he was trying to say.

He brought some sizzling fresh bacon back to me and I opened my mouth for him to place the bacon inside it.

I swear I almost moaned at the taste.

"Okay everyone. Let's go shopping."

I intended to find a object that would it make it easier to move around rather than having to be carried everywhere.

We strolled through the market place and after a few minutes of searching we found a chair with wheels attached to it.

Apparently it was mainly used for older folks who couldn't get around.

I had the tribesmen grab me the wheel chair. The sellers were kind enough to give it to me with no questions asked. I swear there was absolutely no theft invoked. I swear….

They sat me down on it and I was finally free from being slung over peoples shoulders.

If only my hands were working then I could get around myself. Unfortunately the world is to cruel to allow things like that.

After that we went back to our usual spot near the inn.

There was an unfamiliar man was waiting for me. He wore black robes and a black cap and had a amicable smile on his face.

I smiled back turning my charm on.

"Hello. Why are you here?" I asked

He didn't not respond and instead just dropped the sack into my lap.

I looked down at the inside of the sack.

It was stuffed full of glimmering gold.

"What's this for?" I asked

"It's for you to leave the city. We don't want you in our hair." He said

Leave the city? Give up on a potential conquest?

No!

I just didn't have the time to do that.

"Sorry no can do."

I nodded towards the tribesmen who was wheeling me around. He picked up the sack and handed it back to him.

A sad smile graced his face.

"Okay. This is going to be a hassle."

Without further conversation he turned around and walked away.
