Being in the same profession with Nathaniel Holt meant that Michel Voight could only be number two, since there couldn't be two number ones in a single profession, it just wasn't possible.
Why would people worship the number two, when the number one was ways ahead of him?... Practically making achievements that Michel could never dream of overcoming.
I mean, Now, Michel couldn't overthrow Nathan by repeating his achievements, that opportunity had long since passed. Thus, the only way to defeat Nathan was to confront him and show the whole academy the difference between them.
Which was why he had left his base alongside his troops and the flags in tow. All in a bid to prove that he was the better Repairman, that he was the true king of gadgets.
That he was the greatest mind to grace the grounds of the Guardian academy till date.
