Chapter 51: The Battle for Lagara part 4

"TAKE EM OUT!" Byron yelled.

A giant warship came towards the Shine's position as Byron commanded it forward.

"Oh?" Shine said grinning "My lil gun isn't going to work here."

"What are your orders?" The captain of the ship asked.

"I run him over! We can't afford to fire the main cannons... to many Shifter scum in the area! The last thing I need is a news article about me!"

"We'll run him into the ground!" The cammandor yelled.

THe wharship, although having huge megathrusters and wings, was shaped much like a ship that could sail on the ocean, as it dipped low, it postioined itse;f to sail across the sands.

"Ahhh shit" Vincent groaned.

"Incoming shitstorm!" Vic cried.

BOOOM!

The vessel crashed into the ground throwing up an ocean of sand on either side of it. Shine who was at the tip of the giant craft, continued to ride on ahead.

"Turn on the thrusters!" The captain cammanded

Turning on its flight gear, the ship began to accelerate towards Shine with great speed. As it came within meters of him. Shine hit the breaks causing his hovercycle to tilt forward 90 degrees.

"I guess I'll just have to destroy this ship from the inside out!"

Turning his hover car towards the ship SHine accelerated directly at the ships loading bay.

"There's no way!" The captain cried. "He's coming straight at us!"

Shine flew over the top of the ship, landing perfectly on its docking bay. He stood surrounded on all sides by aircraft, personal and men in mechs.

"Hands up! Surrender is your only option!" Byron yelled over the loud speaker.

"Heh" Shine said smiling

Raising his hands tot he air, he dropped his head in silence.

"IF you say so!"

PEW

Shooting 15 rays of light from his fingertips, Shine dismantle a section of the human forces.

"Attack now!" Byron commanded

As the human forces shot at shine, he maneuvered across the ship on his hovercycle easily avoiding their shots.

Alright now lets take you guys for a spin!

Shine cut the breaks on his hover cycle, sliding across the ships dock, he streched out boht of his arms.

In a flash, a blue pigment coated his fingers and shaped itself intoa gun, and before he could even blink two pistols appeared in his hands, and in his right eye a visor.

"Lights out" Shine laughed shooting a bunch of ammunition from his guns

As he fired, his bike began to slowly spin in a circle faster and faster until a vortex of blue energy fired in all directions overwhelming the ship

"What's the status down there!" Byron boomed

"He's taking out all of our units! He's firing into the Bridge! We have to abandon ship!"

"WHATYTT!" Byron yelled

As the ship filled up with holes Shine continued to fire away

"You! Captian Armstrong!"

"err Uhh.. yes sir!" A nervous voice responded

"Ram your ship directly into that one!" Byron ordered

"But the collisoin could="

"I don't care! Take him out!" Byron yelled

A SHine stopped spinning a giant shadow appeared over his head.

"Ahhh what do we have here?" He said looking up at the giant ship about to collide into him.

"THere's no way you can escape now! Your dead!" Byron yelled.

"Welp so much for that" Shine said getting off his Hovercycle. "Guess I gotta bring out the big guns"

Picking up his hovercycle Shine positioned it over his head.

CHing Clack Clack

THe hovercycle began to unwound, turning into agiant cannon. As the cannon formed around him it created a chair for him to sit in as he aimed it atht he ship.

"Hmmm" Shine said. "I need a litle more.... Juice!"

Caching!

The giant cannon shot out blue cables that dug into the center of the ship, sucking out the ether like leeches. As the energy began to overflow a giant blue light covered the battlefield.

"Holy shit!" Armstrong yelled. "THat cannon has more ether than our entire vessel! He's going to vaporize us!"

"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAATTTTTTTTT!" Byron cried

"All hands abandodn ship!!!!!"

As Shine charged his pistol, hundreds of tiny vehicles fled the airship as it catapulted down from the sky.

"COBALT!" Shine cried reeling back

"OVERDRIVE!"

BOOOM!

As Shine's giant laser wiped out the ship, the fighters on the battleground watched in awe.

"One major attack after another" Reggie said. "Seymour was right, we are way out of our league here"

"But that doesn't change our missoin!" LArs said. "Whatever is in that box is 1000x scarier than this battle! You can believe that!"

"LArs... how do you know about this thing? How are you so certain of it?" 6 asked.

"I... I saw it in a dream..." Lars answered.

"A dream?" 6 asked

"In the dream I saw a hooded man and an evil woman dressed in black, I know they are on their way there now...We have to get there before they do!"

Deep inside the cave, a hooded man sat in darkness patiently waiting.

"It's almost time" He said. "The power of the humans will be mine to wield"
