He caught my right hand and brought it to his lips, distracting me yet again.

"I will meet your mother tomorrow and I'll observe her myself, how about it?"

I stared at him.

"I should show my face to my future mother-in-law, after all," he smirked.

Uhm, well, he's right. Although I think my mother would be really surprised since I haven't told her about it.

"Hmm... Our wedding might have to be cancelled."

He instantly frowned.

"What? Who says?"

"I mean, my mother just returned after a long time, so if we get married, I would have to move out of the manor."

Lukas, in annoyance, grabbed the back of my head and kissed me hard, as if punishing me. After another long deep kiss, he bit my lip.

"So, you're telling me I have to wait longer to have you?"
