Tension

After it was confirmed that they were from the Sacred Family everyone was very tense, those from the Sacred Family were isolated and were always being watched. They even discussed the thought of turning back but they decided against it since they knew they wouldn't have a second chance to venture out to the ruins.

So they went on their journey with their previous enthusiasm dimmed. For some reason Huyan Lanruo still approached Nie Li and still tried to seduce him despite the tense atmosphere, perhaps she was just horny which sparked Chu Yuan's jealously to spark. Everything continued as the story line should have progressed, he allowed the fight to continue to allow it to break the tension in the air, which worked quite well.

Unlike the story though he chose to interfere when Chu Yuan tried to destroy Nie Li's Soul Realm. This would delay Nie Li's progress to bronze rank and also establish him as a fair person.

"Now then, since you guys are finished I think it's time to continue with our journey. It's best not to remain in one spot to long."

"Teacher White is right, we still have at least 2 days of travel to get there so it's best not to waste time or we will be in here forever." Speaking up Chen Linjian managed to get everything under control and moving again, Huyan Lanrou was still trying to seduce to the point of frustration when her attempts were futile.

[2 Days Later]

They had managed to reach the ancient city when the Giant Blue Armed apes attacked them, they had been following them for some time now and had finally decided to attack them. After being requested not to interfere with the fight against the demon beast Solomon just stood to the side and watched them make a fool of themselves while trying to shoot the Demon Beast. The hours began to tick by and Solomon was growing extremely bored just watching Nie Li firing away at the demon beast with Chen Linjian slashing them.

"This is so boring..."

[The Dark Guild members are near by and the 5 Star Silver rank Demon Ape is nearing too.]

"Yeah... but after waiting for half a day my enthusiasm has worn down..." Just as he finished speaking he heard a roar signaling that the Almost Gold Rank Demon Ape had arrived. "About time, now then, you will be my target to experiment with my power."

Pulling out his sword he walked towards the beast, while walking he also activated his demonic form. As it currently only effected his eyes he appeared completely human. "Here I come." With he kick he flew towards the demon beast completely shattering the ground beneath him leaving only small crater behind. After activating his demonic form not only did he feel power rushing through him he felt everything slow down, while he did move incomparably faster everything else was in slow motion. He landed on the Demon Apes shoulder and then decapitated it with a clean stroke to the neck with his sword and with the remaining momentum he reached the ground behind the Demon Ape.

"Well... That was quick." Muttering to himself he put away his sword and ignored the stares of admiration from the students. The other Demon Apes ran away after he killed their leader.

"Thank you Teacher White, I wasn't sure if we could deal with it ourselves." Chen Linjian thanked him as he and Nie Li approached him with a smile.

"No problem, though you will have to go ahead by yourselves for a little bit, there's some business I have to take care of." Solomon said while turning in the direction of the Dark Guild Members. "I should catch up within an hour or so."

"Understood." They didn't ask where he was going or why because they knew he wouldn't tell them.

There were two reasons why he left, one was that he was going off to kill the Dark Guild members and the other was to enter into Kong Ming's tomb and take the demon spirit page. In his opinion, Nie Li was a threat, while they did have similar goals he felt that Nie Li was just going to be a pain in the ass later on, so the weaker he was the better it was.

"Now then, let's kill some Dark Guild Members."
