Quest

As Solomon saw off the students from class he couldn't take his mind off the passionate gazes from his students as he taught them about the basics of martial arts. He had learned martial arts as a kid and through his twenty's before he had received an injury, after which he decided to take up writing full time rather than part time. Over the years his body had decayed but now that he had a new body which far surpassed before he could even leave the experts of his old world in the dust.

As class had ended and Solomon could not cultivate until night had fallen he decided to head to the library to learn more about this world as he knew very little about it. He spent a few hours there reading up on the history of this world, which was mostly filled with biased articles praising their own clans and nonessential babbling about their own beliefs. As night was falling and Solomon was getting ready to leave he heard someone call out to him.

"Teacher White." The voice sounded feminine and older than any student should be. Turning around he was right, it was Shen Xiu, the teacher of Nie Li's class.

"How can I help you Teacher Xiu?" As they were both teachers he treated her with equal respect.

"I heard that you were a traveler from outside glory city, I was wondering if you could tell me if you had ever heard of The Heavenly Luster Mountain or Northern Snow? I heard someone mention them and I was curious if they were real."

"Indeed I have, though you most likely do too. As I was reading through the library I came across many places that matched descriptions of places that I have been to but under different names, such as the Heavenly Luster Mountain is recorded as Deity's Foothold."

"So it was Deity's Foothold, to think that it was simply another name."

"Of course I am quite interested in the student who was able to name it correctly even though it's been recorded under a different name."

"Humph, that trash is not worth your time, as a traveler you have no background here in academy city, if you want our Sacred Family can adopt you."

"I am flattered but to be able to teach her I accepted the condition of remaining neutral to any clans or outside powers, though if you ever do need help do ask I am always happy to lend a hand, especially to such a beautiful woman." Smiling Solomon did a slight bow and left after saying goodbye leaving a slightly blushing Shen Xiu. Unknown to Solomon the only way to get adopted into the Shen clan was through marriage, he had narrowly dodged a bullet with his quick thinking.
