Eithin (Mavet) was someone born with nothing and desired to change his circumstances. Although determined, his life seemed to be crumbling as he lived to simply survive—but is it the life he wanted? He closed his eyes and fell into his dreams. This dream was special, he couldn’t see, but he felt his memories and a sense of creativity and clarity he had never felt before. But all dreams eventually fade, and he awoke. “Where…the hell am I?” He wasn’t on his bed anymore; was this even his world? ———— Disclaimer - I don’t own the [Cover Image]. Dreamland

The sun had begun to set, showing one last brilliance before it ebbed away into horizon. The day was ending but the night had just begun, the outside air cooling down.

At this time.

Inside a modern bedroom, an adolescent male scribbled away on a 8.5 x 11 inch notebook. On it were notes with somewhat messy handwriting, though it had it's own 'neatness' to it.

On the upper-left corner of the paper was; Eithin Mavet.

"This is too difficult, I'm already getting headaches.." Eithin looked down on his notebook, he had recorded the lesson on his phone earlier today and had written the important information on his notebook, but he got stuck on a question his professor gave everyone as homework.

Eithin rubbed his eyes, glancing at his notebook occasionally. He sighed and closed his notebook before getting up off the desk.

He placed the book under his pillow before falling onto his pillow and bed, grabbing the covers and blanketing himself comfortably.

'I wonder if...' Eithin paused, he opened his phone and scrolled through some of the messages. He powered off his phone. "Nevermind."

He closed his eyes and he began drifting off to sleep...

'What....is that?' Eithin was groggily regaining awareness, thanks to a bright light shining in.

Eithin winced away from the bright light and groaned, his back didn't feel quite comfortable. "Is it morning already?"

Eithin groggily opened and closed his eyes, trying to adjust to the bright light. Why...was it so bright?

Groggily, he forced some strength into his ar- his thoughts halted for a quick moment. 'This feels like...grass?'

he moved his hand and felt soft thin blades tickle his hand.

"Wh...a?" Eithin was confused, didn't he sleep in his bed last night? Even if he remembered wrong and slept somewhere else, why would he sleep on the ground? 'Unless I was sleepwalking...' He didn't find it likely, but he wasn't sure.

He shielded his eyes, adjusting to the light and looked down on the ground. Eithin wasn't imagining things, beneath him was lush and emerald grass crushed beneath his body. After thinking for a bit, he looked around..

His heart skipped. "Where...where am I?"

All around him were massive trees and shrubbery he didn't recognize, everything was green and full of life which made him alert!

'It was December and had been snowing throughout the country..' His line of thinking went darker, 'Have I been kidnapped?'

His body tensed, there were many possibilities on how he could've awoken here; accidental escape due to incompetence of the kidnappers, purposeful release to hunt him down, etc..

His mind swirled with hypothetical situations..

"Looks like you're awake." A voice filled with curiosity spoke from behind Eithin.

Eithin reacted in shock, hastily jumping up and turning around with his heart racing. He took in the person's image; recognizably male with a light-olive skin-tone, trimmed light-brown hair with hazel eyes to match. They wore a simple shirt and blue jeans, a large backpack hanged on their shoulder.

The guy chuckled. "Calm down, you don't need to be so alert and tense around me." Eithin didn't really trust his words but he relaxed and considered his options. "I'm just a simple guide who helps adventurers, you can call me Guide."

Eithin strangely looked at 'Guide' for a few seconds, slightly confused. Who says 'adventurers'?

His head churned, thinking of how he seemed familiar with Guide. "Where am I?" Eithin asked.

Guide smiled. "You're currently in Valeria Forest, a fairly peaceful and safe place."

"Valeria?" Eithin didn't have any familiarity over the name, "Okay..better question. What continent am I on?" Eithin felt that was a better and broader question.

Guide looked at Eithin curiously as he spoke. "The continent you're on is Eden, the most blessed of Min' Raria."

"Min' Raria?" It didn't sound like 'Earth' or any planet he had ever heard of.

"Ah, you must be an easterner. I remember you call this world, Terraria over there." Eithin felt the name familiar but that was all. He had many questions, but he refrained from asking.

Guide seemed to have noticed something. "Adventurer...it appears you don't have any equipment with you. Hmm..wait a moment." Guide placed down his backpack and rummaged his backpack, before taking out a copper sword, axe, and pickaxe under Eithin's eyes.

"Those..." Eithin felt the sense of familiarity grow.

"It's dangerous to go alone so take these." Guide held the tools and handed them to Eithin, with Eithin accepting with some reluctance.

As he examined his tools, his guard against Guide subconsciously lower.

Suddenly, he suddenly heard a vrooming like a electric fan was turning on, and information seemed to pour into his mind as he gazed at the his gear.

[Copper Pickaxe (Light | Inferior):

A light standardized copper pickaxe made with inadequate skills. Nothing else of note. Damage: 6.2 Durability: 5/5

| Modifiers |

+8.6% Lightness. -9.2% Knockback]

________

[Copper Sword (Inferior): A sub-par wooden sword...better than nothing...

Damage: 5 Durability: 4.8/4.8]

________

[Copper Axe (Inadequate): Standardized copper axe...pray that it doesn't get stuck..

Damage: 5.7 Durability: 4.9/4.9]

Eithin was momentarily shocked by the information inside his mind. 'It's almost like...'

"I recommend traveling east of here, I'm pretty sure I had walked past a cave not long ago. Most adventurers love exploring caves."

Eithin was brought out of his shock, he recollected what Guide had said and yanked him. "I...thank you so much Guide, you've..helped me out."

It wasn't everyday that a random stranger gave you some gear. It was a suspicious point, but Eithin glossed over it because he was much more surprised by the menu inside his head.

Guide smiled, "It was a pleasure to meet you! Well, I've got many more places to chart, I'll see you later!" Guide opened map and walked forward past Eithin, they were scribbling on the paper as he examined his surroundings.

Eithin watched Guide leave for a few seconds before sighing. He decided to take a small break to process his situation.

'Have I been Isekai'd?' He wasn't sure, but it was becoming believable to him.

"Status?" He blurted out. Few second of waiting and nothing popped up; no panel, no virtual fairy, etc.

'Guess I don't have enough prestige, or it doesn't have stats.' He turned his attention toward his three equipment. The system classified them as 'sub-par' which was no different from bad, yet to him it was quite well made.

Moving the tools around, he noticed that they were quite heavy. Heavier than what he was usually used to, 'Actually...why do I feel heavier?'

Eithin wasn't sure, but he felt heavier than before. 'Does Minerria have higher gravity?' That was the first thing that came to mind, he was after all, in another world.

'I should test that later,' Focusing on the information on the tools, he was slightly confused by the damage from the tools before he understood.

"The pickaxe can penetrate with it's sharp ends, the axe has most it's mass on it's edge, while the sword was balanced." He felt it was right but he wasn't sure.

"I should probably begin moving before the sun sets." He held the sword in his right hand while holding the pickaxe and axe on his left shoulder.

He looked up to check which way the sun was falling and followed.

While walking, Eithin made guesses about the system.

"Perhaps my system is based on crafting? That would make some sense. Wonder why it hasn't responded to me yet, maybe it's still loading?" He pondered.

While walking toward where Guide had told him, he looked around at his surroundings. There was a lot of plants and animals he hadn't seen before, which got his head focused on survival tips he learned.

"I should probably gather some dry sticks and look for flint if possible, if..do I have an inventory?"

Eithin had almost forgotten the most iconic ability of a system, if he had an inventory..then it would open up to greater possibilities.

"Inventory?" He waited for a few seconds but nothing, "Of course it didn't work." He pondered other options and only can up with one.

He gazed at his sword and concentrated on making it disappear, into somewhere.

Seconds flew and Eithin began doubting if he even had an inventory, but before he gave up, he felt himself getting light-headed and dizzy.

'Somethings happening!' He resisted and focused on his sword with excitement. The sword began to warp and distort, there was the sound of metal scraping as the warps and distortions happened.

He concentrated harder, when suddenly a pain flashed through his head. "Gah!"

His consciousness felt fuzzy but he shook his head and pushed it aside. The fuzziness and dizziness slowly faded as he regained focus, he looked at his sword.

He felt something wet drip from his nose. Looking down, the dirt had small red stains.

"So it's like that huh..."

He wiped off the blood and didn't try another attempt, his head was already throbbing in pain and he didn't want to risk blacking out.

"It's a good thing that I've discovered my inventory." He inserted his blade into the ground and threw his pickaxe beside it, in both his hands was the copper axe.

"Because I just remembered what some things about Terraria..."

He looked at the thinnest tree he saw and clutched his axe. "Let's get us some wood."

After many centuries, I’ve regained the spark of creation from the retched hands of Sloth! The next chapter in a few hours...
