as we closed our distance,the wolf bared it's sharp fangs ready to bite me.but i evaded it as i stepped on his head and leaped to a nearby tree, using the advantages i have over the branches of the trees i circled around the wolf.

'i should have an advantage on trees.' i thought as i prepared a plan to defeat it.

but before i could make out a plan i halted my movements as i gazed at the wolf being devoured by the darkness.

'shit! i forgot about that' i thought in frustration as i stopped and closed my eyes to get a better feeling of my surroundings.

i could vaguely feel it's presence as it tried to approach the tree i was on. but i had already concucted a plan therefore i ascended the tree i was on and tried to scatter it's leaves below to distract and locate him.

'this'll make our fight more advantageous for me, i hope.' i thought as i continued to circle around the area scattering leaves along the way.

*Rustle...Rustle...Rustle*

the sound of the leaves rustling as it fall down and blocking a few parts of the wolf's view. some of the leaves stuck to it's body and i was able to barely tell it's head from it's butt.

"GRRRRR" the wolf snarled realizing i had did this in purpose to distract him. but amidst the chaos i pounced on it's back and with all my might i used my claw enhancement skill as i dug my claws in it's fur penetrating it's skin.

some of his blood sprayed on my fur as i kept on burrowing my claws, while he thrashed and howled attempting to dislodged me. thinking it's not enough, i used my sharp enhanced fangs to bite it's nape thus making it squirt a good amount of blood on my 'cute' face.

it kept on thrashing around to shake me off but i held on with my unwavering spirit but alas i was flung off it's back.

'your blood reeks of steel!' i thought as it managed to shake me off it's back, panting heavily while staring daggers at me.

i backed out as for a moment as i thought i saw his shadow moved in an unnatural way and i was right as it's shadow slowly materialized and there stood a clone of the wolf as it seperated from his feet. it was purely made of it's shadow, like a wolf made out of black fog.

'it had another skill?! ugh...this is bad news'

as the wolf's shadow stared at me with bloodlust, the injured wolf again got devoured by the darkness as it's entire being disappeared.

'shit..now i got to deal with an unharmed wolf and an invisible wolf....GREAT!!! this is bullshit!!' i cursed while thinking of another plan.

before i could think of a plan the wolf's clone dashed towards me in full speed. noticing it's sudden movement i immediately used body enhancement to escape to a nearby tree like always.

i tried to asses my opponents new pattern of attack, but i was interupted as the injured wolf suddenly appeared at my side that attempted to bite me but i evaded it by reflex.

'that was close!' i was surprised for a moment but i immediately counterattacked by using my enhanced claws. but i didn't expect it to be a trap....

'fuck....' i thought as i caught a glance on my injured right eye the wolf's clone closed the distance between us with it's mouth wide open as i didn't have any time to react.

'it took advantage of my blindspot?!' i thought before being crushed by it's jaw.

"EEEEK" i let out a sharp, high-pitched yelp, expressing a mixture of pain,surprise and distress.

'am i gonna die again?'

'no....there might still be a chance to get out of this situation.'

"....huff...eeep..." i whined accompanied by my breathing.

'think!..think!! i need a plan, fast!!'

'wait...' i suddenly came to a realization that when red panda's are cornered they release a foul smell from their glands.

'this is it!!'

"chuu...grrrrr" after i released the foul smell from my glands it made the injured wolf sneezed and growled as it couldn't take the strong smell i emitted. after that i noticed the wolf move wobbly as if it's drunk.

'what's wrong with it? shouldn't he be giving up on me as i smell bad?' suddenly the wolf's clone disappeared and returned to being a normal shadow of the wolf.

'oof' after the wolf's shadow returned to it's original state the injured wolf like creature sunddenly fell off the tree and fell down the ground.

'urgh..my body's weak' after trying to stand up i went down and checked the wolf's condition.

'it's unconscious? it might've been overdosed by my lovely scent....well joke's aside' i approached the wolf and used the little bit of strength i had to finish it's life.

after checking my status i slept through the night as the intense battle i had left me exhausted mentally.
