Re-Reincarnation

The diamond above the ring started shining brilliantly, soon the light became so radiant that everybody on the bloody battlefield had to close their eyes and turn their head.

At that time in the middle of the diamond in the ring a blue coloured light came out of the diamond and at the same time a translucent white light left Charles dead body.

The blue light and the white translucent light came together and the blue light went inside the white translucent light and merged with it.

Even 10 star mages wouldn't have been able to tell that that white light was actually a soul.

It was Chris's soul !

It was the soul of Chris which transmigrated from Earth and settled in the body of Charles.

Soon Chris's soul now merged with the white light, started accumulating nearby mana. The Mana from the air, the ground even the Mana inside the bodies of any living thing nearby was fetched, killing them on the spot.

When it was not enough the soul went high into the sky almost on the edge of Kármán line( the virtual line that separates the sky and space, crossing that line means stepping into space and is usually a hundred kilometre above the ground) and begin absorbing Mana from the whole of the planet.

Even people on the other side of the planet felt just a little decrease in Mana density at that time a large being in the middle of the Draconian mountain opened its mouth and muttered something, it felt like it knew what was happening and why! It opened its mouth once again and suddenly a colossal amount of dense mana; enough to be seen by naked eyes leaving the body of the being and going straight towards Chris's soul.

As soon as that Mana reached Chris's soul it absorbed it well it's more accurate to say that the blue light inside Chris's soul absorbed it and suddenly it started moving, no it stayed still but the world started moving in reverse !

Day became night , night became days trees started shrinking, dust became rocks and time started to reverse, after an unknown amount of time the planet stopped and started rotating as normal as if what just happened now was merely an illusion.

Chris's soul which was already out of the planet's radius entered the planet's atmosphere and went straight towards a majestic looking noble house and went straight inside the body of a 15 year old boy.

The boy was laying in the middle of a large bed with no one but only a woman sitting beside her and crying uncontrollably, from the looks of it, the boy appeared dead. But it seems the woman was unable to believe it and wasn't ready to part with the boy.

The room the boy and woman was, seemed pretty ordinary. Although it could not be compared to a commoner's room. The room was still lacking much as compared to how it should have been seeing the majestic caste it was inside in.

As soon Chris's soul went inside the body of the boy, the dead body twitched a little, the heart began to pump again, the lungs began expanding and shrinking but the boy didn't move.

The woman sitting beside was overjoyed and started shaking the body to wake the boy up but to no avail.

But even then just the joy of seeing the boy alive again was enough for her to let go of her worries and relax a little. As soon as she relaxed she was overtaken by drowsiness and fatigue and she fainted right beside the boy.

It seemed that all her tensions about the boy were keeping her awake and as soon as she let go of those worries and her adrenaline rush died down she was no longer able to take it and fainted right there.

After a few minutes passed the boy opened his blood shot eyes and "ugh.. " a groan came out of the boy's mouth.

Unsurprisingly the boy was Chris, well at least no matter the body but the soul inside was Chris's.

Chris couldn't take it any more and shouted loudly " AAAAAAAAAGH, why does it hurt so much, what's happening AAAAAAGH somebody help me , save me , it hurts "

Even after that nothing happened, the woman who fainted didn't wake up. Nobody else came in the room.

In the midst of dead silence where only the grunts of Chris could be heard, suddenly another voice sounded but not from anywhere else but inside the head of Chris.

" Yo boy, you're already up, well that's weird, i thought you would take at least an hour to properly adapt to the body but it seems like your soul has experience in shifting bodies aye hahaha "

Chris could hear the sound of an old woman inside his head but he was in so much pain that he couldn't understand most of what she was saying. " Who are you? Are you the one responsible for this pain and where am I? and I I ..ughAAAgh. I died on the battlefield so where is this and how can I hear your voice inside my head? Ughhh".

Chris struggled to speak with so much pain although he had gained high pain tolerance from all the years of training and fighting, none of that seemed to be working right now since the pain was unbearable.

"Tsk. It seems we can't have a proper conversation since you keep grunting in pain". Said the woman inside his head and soon all the pain started to subside , all the body parts which weren't responding before were now working properly and soon Fe felt like vomiting.

Chris jumped from the bed to run towards the other end of the room where the washroom was located but as soon as he jumped, he lost his balance and fell. It seemed he couldn't properly control his body and the body felt weird like it was not his.

But before he could think further he started vomiting on the ground. Black blood came out of his mouth and that too in large quantities, no it would be more like a jelly instead of blood, it seemed like the blood had fused to form dense blood jelly.

As soon as he vomited, Chris felt all the energy living his body and struggled to move and in the end he just layed in the ground in a pool of his own vomit and blood. After staying like that for five minutes Chris somehow gained energy to reach the water jug and some fruits kept in the corner of the bed.

After drinking water and eating fruits for a few minutes, he finally calmed himself. After that he sat straight on the ground not bothering that he was still sitting above his vomit and blood and closed his eyes.

" Hello are you there?" Chris called out.

"Yes, I am here. so you finally gained enough strength to talk huh. I know you have a lot of questions so just ask me, I will answer to the best of my abilities". The woman said in a calm tone. Her voice was very smoothing, it felt the voice was of someone barely past 30 years of age.

By now Chris had already noticed that he wasn't in his body but someone else's.

After thinking for a while Chris said " Who are you? I am sure you are responsible for me being ending up in this body and you are also the one responsible why I am not dead. Right"?
