The Ritual Festival.

The Ross family had dinner getting ready for bed.

Felix and Amelia stayed up in their kids bedroom reading bedtime stories to them.

"And that's the end of the story". Felix ended the story.

"Nooo...we want more dad or we won't sleep". Zora made known to her father scowling her face.

"You have got school tomorrow so you  have to sleep Zora" Amelia notified Zora preoccupied about listening to another bedtime story before sleeping totally losing track of school.

"I'm going to sleep" Nora yawned, stretching herself on top of the bed sleepily.

"No you won't, we promised to do things together like sleeping together, eating together, reading together, playing together, going to school together and so many others I haven't mentioned" Zora mentioned to Nora folding her arms across her chest. Felix and Amelia stared at the both of them in amazement.

"I know I promised that but I'm sleepy Zora besides daddy's done with the story, let's just sleep, we got school tomorrow".

"No I won't sleep till I hear another story" Zora insisted on hearing another story before going to sleep disagreeing with Nora suggesting that they should go to bed". They are twins but unlike Nora, Zora is a shrewd, always persistent about something not stopping till she gets what she wants, the stubborn one. Nora listens to Felix and Nora without complaint but Zora isn't that type.

"Let's leave it for tomorrow night I promise to sing u guys a lullaby" Felix promised them.

"But dad…" Zora kept on insisting but her mom Amelia had to interfere.

"No buts young lady, go to sleep".

"Fine," Zora retorted, followed by a little frown on her face. Their mom Amelia was a little hard on them unlike Felix that babied them all the time.

"Good night Zora" Amelia wished her good night pecking her forehead. 

"Goodnight Nora".

Felix did the same to Nora, Amelia switched the lights off, closing the door and withdrawing from the room with felix.

The both of them got down the stairs matching towards their own room but Felix stopped when Amelia asked him.

"You never told me about your conversation with Freya the other day she came by".

"It's nothing serious, she just came by to say hello" Felix answered not wanting to open up about his conversation with Freya the other day she visited.

"Felixxx" Amelia called him sweetly.

"Yesss" He replied, trying to get into their room to avoid her question.

"Baby I'm not a fool" She told him watching him trying to get into the room leaving her question unanswered.

"Okay fine".

He gave up taking a deep breath before speaking.

"It's about the Ravened".

"What about the Ravened?" Amelia got more curious on hearing about the Ravened.

"She says Agnes had a vision about the rising of another Ravened".

"The rising of another Ravened?" Amelia  stood puzzled on hearing Felix's statement.

"Yeah the rising of another Ravened".

"But the last Ravened defeated the dark lord, there's no need for the rising of another Ravened". Amelia scratched her head really perplexed.

"If there's going to be the rising of another Ravened that means the dark days are to occur again". Felix thought to himself.

"Don't tell me the dark days are going to happen again baby" Amelia cried out to Felix. That's the day of unending war between righteous witches and unrighteous witches. The same war that caused Sam's death, Felix's brother. 

She knows how much it's hurting Felix inside to remember those days. It's been years since Sam's death but they still felt the pain and burden of it so she just hugged Felix tightly. Those days are the days she hated the most, Days of losing loved ones, days of pools of blood swallowing the earth up and now they have kids they have to keep safe too. God knows how much they both love Zora and Nora and if anything happens to any of them they would completely go crazy.

"Let's go to sleep," She said, dragging Felix slowly into the room.

And did I forget to tell you guys that Felix and Amelia were witches with powers, I'm sorry for totally forgetting to mention that so here it goes.

Felix is a fire witch while Amelia is a water witch. They both served in the righteous witches council but left after losing Sam they didn't want the same for their kids. That's where Felix found Amelia and fell in love with her. They got married, blessed with twins whom you all know, Zora and Nora. Now they know the dark days are going to occur again. They have to prepare for what is to come or pay the price if care isn't taken.

"Everything is set, we are waiting for you to begin with the ritual. Mia mentioned to Freya coming into the bureau.

"I'm ready let's go" Freya stated leaving the bureau together with Mia closing the doors.

Freya opened the doors leading to the righteous witches council complex, it was decorated accordingly to how the ritual festivals appeared always by the highest interior decorator, the whole place was decorated in red, red and white candles were lit around the whole complex, the picture of the last Ravened smith was hung on the wall. Everyone is dressed up in red robs. Freya is the only one dressed in white robe designed with red roses with crowns like thorns on the tops of each of their heads. On sighting Freya everyone bowed down as a sign of respect for her. She was the oldest so she deserved it all. She walked up to the altar alongside Mia by her right hand side.

"Please do raise your heads" She said loud enough for everyone in the complex to hear using her hands to indicate it also and everyone did so obediently.

"Today is a day we can never forget in our entire lives, Today is the day we lost so many of our beloved ones, ones we all cared about due to the unending war the last righteous witches council fought against the Unrighteous witches, and their the dark lord "Ruger" and won which I'm proud of every single one of them. But they are no more so the least we can do for them is to honour them by hosting this festival. As the only survivor of the war and head of the righteous witches council I'm honored to be the one to host this ritual festival standing together with you guys to honour them all by remembrance. I want to let you all.... Freya had her speech cut off by a loud bang on the door flinging the door wide open.

All eyes turned to stare at the idiot that spoiled the special moment they all were having.

"You all are having a party and didn't invite me".
