Excido.

"Freya duck!!!" Mia alerts Freya, grabbing her right arm and dragging her down to avoid the dagger flying towards them. The dagger landed on the floor of the underground tunnel. 

Freya stood up searching for Gary and she found him, running after him she yelled.

"Gary stop" Freya yelled out to Gary in pursuit of him, she caught up with him tackling him to the ground holding his right arm trying to hold him down. Mia ran after them catching up with them.

"Help me hold him down mia!" Freya howled out to Mia who was attempting to hold Gary down.

"Excido!" Gary mentioned using his left arm to demonstrate it causing Mia to slip down.

"Ouch!" Mia wailed out in pain slipping down.

"Silentus!" Freya said to Gary, sealing his lips from speaking more words. 

Gary kept on struggling to set himself free of Freya's grip but Freya held onto him firmly with the help of Mia who got up after slipping down from Gary's spell.

"Morpheus" Freya mentioned causing Gary to fall asleep she slid her hands into the pocket on the top of the shirt he was putting on and got the seed out.

"I have the seed, now the work is done. Who's going to convey him back to the headquarters?". Freya showed Mia the seed, getting up exhausted from the little show of power they had with Gary.

Freya opened a portal bending down to grab Gary hurling him on her shoulders with Mia doing the same grabbing his other side on top of her shoulders too.

"Woah he's got weight". Mia mentioned entering the portal.

"Dad, can I invite some of our friends over for our birthday party on Sunday?". Zora asked her dad Felix sitting on the soft couch fixed in the middle of the living room while watching cartoons on the television.

"You can't Zora". Felix answered.

"Why can't I dad?". She kept on asking Felix moving her gaze from the cartoon she was watching and fixed it on Felix.

"Sweet Zora you know you just can't, I thought we have been over this conversation a million times". Felix reminded Zora.

"But dad it's normal to invite friends over for birthday parties, my best friend Kayla invites almost the whole class to her birthday parties every year". Nora chipped into the conversation abandoning the book she was reading.

"I know but you can't invite anyone, people are evil you can't trust anyone". Felix explained the reasons why he does not want to permit his kids to invite some friends over.  

"That's ridiculous". Zora snorted with laughter. Felix wondered what was so funny about the statement he dropped, making Zora laugh hysterically.

"What's so funny about what I said, sweet Zora?". He wondered, asking her trying to find out the reason she laughed that much.

"People are not evil, even if they were evil my classmates are not, except for Becky, she's the only evil one I know that she bullies people". Zora retorted.

"It's true dad Becky is the only evil person I know, let us invite others and not her". Nora told Felix joining Nora on the couch she was sitting on.

"I'm sorry pumpkins but you can not invite anyone. We are going to celebrate it as we normally do during your past birthdays. Just me and your mom together with you guys you know have a little good family quality time together". He told them, smiling happily. Pumpkin is a nickname Felix, Freya and Amelia normally call them.

"But we want it a little bit different this year, dad , you know, celebrating it together with friends and not just you and mom". Nora told Felix.

"Some of my friends are starting to think I am an alien, you don't let us go outside of the house to play with our friends or invite some of our friends over to the house. We need freedom, you are caging us dad!". Zora told Felix her mind frowning her face and folding her arms between her chest.

"You know I would let you guys invite your friends over but I'm trying to protect you both try and understand me". Felix explained to them.

"Protect us from what exactly dad?". Zora kept on pressing Felix for more information. Like I said before Zora doesn't stop till she gets the answer she wants. She's a child way too clever than her age. 

Felix stared at them having nothing else to say. He needs to tell them about magic, one day he won't be able to hide it from them anymore. They are growing up and soon they won't be kids anymore.

An awkward silence fell in the living room after Zora dropped that question so Zora saw it as an opportunity to try to win Felix over.

"So can we invite them over?". Zora queried Felix hoping for a positive response.

"You can not and that is final". Felix declared leaving the kids speechless.

"But…." Zora still tried to make an attempt but was cut short of words by Felix.

"No buts young lady, now go to your room". Felix declared finally winning over them.

"Fine". They retorted in unison.

"Don't forget to invite Aunt Freya". Zora mentioned lastly leaving the room along with Nora.

"Good night Dad, we love you". They both said.

"Good night, love you guys more".

In the bedroom of Felix and Amelia, Felix lay on the bed Amelia joined him after taking a mirror out of her make up box to check her face and hair. She packed her hair into a ponytail. Satisfied with the look, she walked towards the bed sliding down on it to sleep.

"Did you put the kids to sleep?". Amelia asked Felix, turning towards him to face him.

"I did but we had a little conversation before that". Felix told Amelia.

"What was it all about?". 

"They wanted to invite some of their friends over to their birthday". Felix explained to her.

"So what did you say to them?".

"I disagreed with them but they kept on persisting so then I had to end the conversation".

"You know we have to tell them the truth someday, we can not keep on hiding it from them". Amelia said to Felix.

"I know but not now, maybe when they are a little bit older I'm thinking when they clock around eighteen". Felix propounded to Amelia.

"Don't you think it's a little bit too late by then I'm thinking when they turn sixteen they are going to be much more mature by then".

"They are going to clock twelve on Sunday the day after tomorrow, I have to at least invite Freya even though I don't like her to make them happy". Felix told Amelia stretching his right hand to her face to feel her smooth skin.

"Yeah you should do that, I'm sleepy good night hon". Amelia kissed him good night.

"Good night".
