Sitting at the dining table, Yun Meiyi slowly took a bite of the steamed bun before taking a sip of soy milk. Since they had missed their breakfast, they were having a full brunch meal.
After all the teasing she had in the morning, Yun Meiyi really wanted to avoid provoking him now. But she knew that she couldn't do that now. Last night itself she wanted to talk and discuss with him about his curse and how she was involved in it.
But since he returned late, she couldn't get the chance to ask him. But now, she doesn't want to delay it any more. Taking another sip of soy milk from her glass, she looked up at him and said, "I have a few things to ask you."
"Still?" Lu Xifu raised his eyebrows at her and Yun Meiyi at once understood what he meant by that.
Keeping the glass aside, she quickly said, "It's not about that. Can you please come out of that simple event? It's not worth discussing every time."
