Raised From The Wild

'Am I hallucinating? Am I dying?' Marx thought. Perhaps he was seeing visions because he was feverish, and his head ached from the contusions he suffered during the crash. He blinked, but the vision was still there. He saw a beautiful woman fully naked on the edge of the other side of the spring. Her slightly wavy hair with the color of copper cascaded freely down her slim waist. She raised her arms and dived cleanly into the water. Marx waited, but after some time, she did not emerge. Marx chuckled. How could a woman be in a jungle in the middle of nowhere?" He heard a growl from behind him, and before he could react, a big tiger pounced on him. The last thing he remembered was seeing four canines closing in and hearing a loud female voice shouting, "Khalil, stop!" … Discover how Amaya, who grew up in the wild, coped with the pressure and challenges of returning to the civilized world. Accompany her on her journey to find love, acceptance, and recognition in the treacherous human world of betrayal and greed. *** The book cover is not mine. It is a photo of one of the most beautiful actresses in my country. *** Jan 2025. I finally had the chance to upload the characters' avatars. I hope you will love Amaya, Marx, and Ibrahim just as I loved bringing them to life.

Woman He Loves

Stephane was sizing up Marx.  His gaze was cold and penetrating.  Marx was staring back in an equally hard manner.

Stephane suddenly found Marx's gaze locked on something beyond him.  His frosty expression turned gentle.  He looked back and saw Amaya emerge from the dressing room.

He walked toward Marx and spoke softly in his ear. "It looked like there is a woman that you like.  Now, you will know how painful it is to lose  a woman you love."  Stephane walked past Marx.

"Don't even think about it.  Hell will break loose if you touch even a strand of her hair."  Marx's voice was dangerously threatening.

Stephane continued walking and did not look back.  He shrugged his shoulders and lifted both hands in the air.

"What happened?  You looked gloomy."

Marx smiled at her but it was a bit forced.  "It is nothing.  Just a squabble between old best friends."  He said as he continued to follow Stephane with his gaze.
