Chapter 33
The bell rang, signaling the end of the lunch break, and students began shuffling back to their classes.
Ning Yin, who had been enjoying their ongoing conversation, felt reluctant to leave but had important matters to handle as the student council president. He stood up from his seat, a reluctant expression clearly visible on his face.
"I have to head to the student council office," Ning Yin said, his tone light but filled with reluctance. "See you guys later."
Ye Jin, who was also reluctant to see him go, wailed, "Can't they just give us 5 extra minutes?"
"Don't delay him," Gu Yan said as he stood up. "Let's go together, Ning Yin."
"Aren't you going to class?" Ye Jin asked.
"What class? It's not like I listen anyway, and I still come out with good grades."
Ye Jin looked at him with obvious jealousy.
How great would it be to be both a genius and a rich second generation at the same time?
