When they arrived at Ye Jin's home, Mei Yun couldn't help but marvel at the cozy atmosphere. The house was bigger than she had expected. "Your house is beautiful," she said softly, a faint smile on her lips.
"Make yourself at home," Ye Jin replied, smiling. Then she added, "I'll start cooking dinner because you must be hungry. You can settle down in the meantime."
Ye Jin headed to the kitchen and began preparing a feast: roasted duck, sweet and sour pork, egg-fried rice, and, finally, her favorite meal, dumplings.
Mei Yun easily found Ye Jin's room and quickly arranged her things. Once she was done, she took a bath. As she stepped into the living room afterward, she was greeted by the sight of various dishes spread across the table.
"This looks really nice. When you said you wanted to cook, I didn't know you meant a feast," Mei Yun said, surprised.
Ye Jin grinned. "So what were you expecting?"
"Noodles," Mei Yun replied honestly.
